I need land lots land, don't fence me in.. LOL. Those older houses near the Capital are pretty neat, but we need room for the Malamute herd to roam and graze.

:goodvibes I don't like that rose/flowery wallpaper, even if it is period....wouldn't have believed from the outside how nice it is inside...not too impressed with that realtor, either......

The yard probably is fenced....10 x 15...... :rotfl:

I hope everyone has a great 3 day weekend.....Elaine, what holiday are you all celebrating this weekend?!?!? I'm sure we aren't getting a 3 day weekend alone.... :goodvibes

Kelli...no 3 day weekend for us this weekend  ....that was last weekend when it was cold and rainy...this weekend sunny and in the high 80º's....I was outside working yesterday afternoon for less than an hour....and I remembered to put sunblock on Dory (thanks Scott)...and that's the only part of my back not sunburned!!!!!!

I can't believe a year ago....this was me.... & I was sad to say goodbye to my new-found friends....not knowing if I would ever see them again....but I was so also excited because we were off to see Disneyland and staying at the Grand Californian Hotel....so for us....we had another 4 more days in our vacation of a lifetime before we were really    .

Hope all are having a great weekend. We drove to Cheyenne to get an idea of the real estate market and various neighborhoods. I have decided to take the transfer in positions, so we will be leaving the Tetons for the plains of Cheyenne. Our house will be listed June 15. I hope it sells quickly, will make the move easier. I will report in Cheyenne sometime mid July, and Lynn will stay in Jackson till this first week of October. The trick will be to pack up all the stuff accumulated over 28 years, (like WDW park guides from the 1990’s) so as to get the house ready to show/sell. This will be an adventure in house selling and moving for sure. One of the big pluses we are looking forward to is the cheaper air fare from Denver to Florida. So, no more one year till retirement, it will be five more, but heck who can afford health insurance anyway. Another plus will be more $$ in pension and in the 457 plan. Plus the skills I will learn, will give me a great base for a consulting job in retirement. I guess I gotta justify this decision; Lynn is jazzed as she can get a part time job and not have to work graves. Besides there is this Tiki Bar set up for sale in Sam’s Club, will have to score that puppy and then “The Tiki Bar is OPEN!!!!!”. Actually this move is just to consolidate the DIS folks in Wyoming to one city. LOL

Scott,

Congratulations on the new job.

I'm sure it was a tough decision to make when you had been looking forward to retirement, but hey...it's only 4 more years!!!!

One year ago, about right now! :sad1:

We were so happy to spend meal times with the crew above....Leslie & Joe, Ron & Janis and Georgie & Joe. Thank you for your great company.

We felt so fortunate to meet so may new friends on this cruise. This was a vacation of a lifetime and all of the people onboard were what made it so MAGICal. It was such a great experience and it will never be forgotten. :sad1:

Five more years! Hey, now we can retire at the same time.
Now, when we make that return trip to Yellowstone/Tetons, we will have to stop in Cheyene on the way.

Bob,

Great Table 12 shot! Ditto on your thoughts! :goodvibes

Scott,

CONGRATULATIONS on your job decision! I'm sure it was a tough one. Lots of changes for you guys! ;)

Good Evening Everyone :wave2:
Hope that you'all had a great three day weekend. (Ooops, sorry Elaine :) )

It was a little warm, but at least it wasn't raining.
Didn't really do much. Just stayed close to home.
A little shopping. Lee looked at the Crocs. Is there any place that discounts those puppies? :confused3

Have a great week. :thumbsup2

Did you hear the story of your "tiki bar"?!?!?!? This little beauty can be yours for the low low cost of $??? Care to take a guess?!? I'll hold off saying the price until you get a chance to guess. Alvaro told some of us the story. Not sure who all was there, but I was amazed at the "retirement homes" I saw. Heck, I was amazed at anything that included a palm tree!!!!

Okay Kelli.....I'm dying to know.....what's the price???????

Okay, here's my last pictures taken from the cruise ship:

So sad.........................

And I knew that DCL was holding out on those strawberries. I was sure we hadn't eaten all of them!!!

I was so sad that morning. Talk about being depressed. Back to reality, what a bummer.

Bob, totally KEWL signature. :thumbsup2

What a “Lovely Cruise”, Thanks guys for sharing all those great memories.

I am willing to be that in a year we will still be here doing the same thing. :goodvibes

The Sam’s Club Tiki Bar has to be a little cheaper, for sure. If we get a place in Cheyenne that has an unfinished basement, plan on a section of it being converted to “Scotty’s SCUBA Shack”. That will be a KEWL fun project. I bet I will be a gold member at Oriental Trading Post. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It doesn't have to be that way Elaine! ;) Lots of room left on the next May Repo cruise :wave2: Rumor has it that less than half of the staterooms are sold. Prices have remained the same from the day they went on sale. :teeth:

You know you wanna :)
