Hi guys,

Does anyone have a tape of the disney christmas parade shown by ABC (I think) on Christmas day?
We arrived for our first visit ever to WDW on parade taping day and we wanted to watch it but....we had a BIG ice storm the week before Christmas that left me without power for 7 days, and without cable and internet for 3 weeks (we'd been home from WDW for 2 days when it hit!). If anyone has a copy I'd love to buy one. Thanks!

I would love to find one as well, Our local ABC affiliate did not even show the parade. :cool1:

Same Here!! DH emailed them about how to get one, but has yet to get a reply.

When is the parade taped? I've always wanted to be there that day.
Thanks-
Melanie

I do have it, saved on my DVD hard drive, that I could transfer to DVD - I'd need to charge something though, for the cost of the DVD and shipping and a little of my time (not looking to make a profit, just recover costs!).

PM me if interested and we can try to work something out.

It's usually taped, in multiple segments, the first weekend or so in December.

The Disneyland part of the parade was filmed back on November 18th. I was at Disneyland that day (1 day visit during a business trip) and they were filming all the parts with Ryan Seacrist. I also made it on the show, twice. They were asking people to stand near Ryan as he made his introductions so I stoppped by twice. It was fun seeing myself on the parade on Christmas day. :cool1:

Is there anyway to know when the filming will be for next year?
Melanie

Usually they tape the WDW part of the parade the first week-end in Dec. I was there for taping on Friday morning, early, the 2nd. It was a zoo, and I was darn near crippled from standing in one place for over 3 hrs. But, I did record the parade, at 3 a.m. on 12/26, and if I stopped it and went frame by frame I could see myself. Not worth all the back and knee pain to do it again!! The crowds were huge on the days they taped in MK....and it was incredibly hard to get through Main St.
