I guess you are referring to DH being tall in reference to the tree background in my DD's picture?!? The only one in the picture is DD, will have to add our's when we get back from Ireland.

gaRry - looks like you are getting what we had yesterday and overnight. Luckily we had more snow than the freezing rain. It is still coming down. Mark went out this morning to clear the drive and sidewalk and by the time he was done it was getting covered again (but at least it is clear enough we can both get out to work).

Days like this will help us appreciate the cruise even more!

Happy Tuesday everyone.

Rain in Ny today. The temp. will rise to about 40. I am so glad it is rain and the kids went to school. I have been at that gym 3x a week to get back in shape. I am so upset that I have been going for 3 weeks now and no weight is coming off!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I am gaining muscle but I really want that 15 lbs off before the summer so I can keep it off for our cruise on 12/18. I can tell the older you get the harder it is to get off.

I am finally starting to pack for our trip next week. I need to go buy another suitcase as our zipper broke on the last trip.

Good morning everyone! Let's hit that 2000 today. Thanks for the story on the name gaRry. Tell me the scoop on the t-shirts, I might be interested in getting them for our whole group.

Snow here this morning, took me twice as long as normal to get to work. We had 25 days in January in a row that it never got above freezing. We still have our 30 inches of snow from Christmas that has never melted. Quite unusual for the valley of Salt Lake. It usually snows, but then warms up enough to melt. But we need the snow! We have been in that western drought for 5 years and we need to fill up those reservoirs since those Californians use so much water! Heard we are starting to restrict their water usage this year between Hoover Dam and California!

Anyway, guess I need to finish reading my morning emails and get to work. I'll check in occasionally. Have a great day everyone!

We have schools closed here today! I didn't even check, cause I didnt' hear any sleet on the windows. It turns out that the temp was DROPPING, so the freezing rain hit about 6:30. Now it's up to 40, so it's just rain, but it's really heavy rain.

Been a crazy day here, between work and cub scouts, so I'll sign off. Just wanted to contribute to the 1900 count! Lisa

I have to agree with Mary, let's send that snow to Canada. It's sunny out today but we have about 10 inches of snow on the ground and the temperature has dropped to the single digits again with a wind chill below zero. I don't mind the snow so much, but I hate when it gets frigid outside.

Unfortunately Mary we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow. YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! And usually what we get moves your way. I'll keep my fingers crossed all day to see if the weather report changes.
