Thanks Karyn. Actually I've been lurking here for a while (incognito) and reading this thread.

It was one of the reasons we decided to do it. Our first cruise was outstanding and I'm willing to bet that Disney will make this one extra special for us first 10-day'r guniea pigs.

Here's a helpful hint to get you into the newsletter quickly. If you get to the page that lists all the months save that to your favorites. Then you can go right there every month and not have to worry about the password!

I finally booked the Radisson for the night before the cruise. We still have no idea when we will leave home or if we will need the room, but at least it's booked. If we are in the room I will NOT be up at 4:00am to see the ship dock, sorry gaRry


BTW, does a regular king room have a couch in it or not. If not I will have to change my reservation to 2 double beds.

besides very naughty are you going to be ANY fun on the ship;??

The couch is for DD. I would prefer a bed to myself for the entire week, but I know that won't happen.
DH is usually up at 4am so maybe he will want to take a stroll over with you to see the ship. He works nights.
I'm not as high maintenance as you make me out to be - just picky.
Have I mentioned that I like to talk to men - but then my tag should have given that away?!?

jilljill - what rate did you get at the Radisson and did you use any codes. Probably should get my reservation in. Not sure when we'll be getting in but better to be prepared.

We have it set up for a group rate. you might do better ?????

dis board group !!!! I think thats what we used????????

can use the 800 # or call direct.

last time there was a lower rate and we called and they just changed the rate no trouble at all. there was a few of us that did that.

I booked on the internet and got $109. for a regular room or they had the 2 room deluxe for $139. This was for the parking package, or whatever they call it when you get to stay and then park for free.
I did not use any code.

Ok I've joked about it a bit in the thread but I really need some good vibes headed this way. Work is the pits and I don't know how much longer I can last with all that is going on there. I'm about to have a melt down (and all the people off for the holidays isn't helping).

I've been looking for a little while now and while I have one possible it isn't a perfect fit. Just found something on Monster that does sound like a perfect fit and sent my resume off.

If you can spare me a prayer and some pixie dust that I get called for this one (or that something comes my way soon) I would deeply appreciate it.

I know - very selfish - there are many others who need prayers and pixie dust much more than me. What can I say - I believe in the power of prayer and good thoughts - so anything you can spare would be appreciated.

I'm really hoping to find something that will allow us to still make the two magical trips we have planned for next year (one being this cruise).
