Chris is alive! Seems everyone wanted Eliza off (all the girls) So Twila talked to Chris and Chris talked to Eliza and it turned out to be a 4-3 vote....Chris, Eliza, Scout and Twila voted for LeAnn. LeAnn, Ami and Julie voted for Eliza. The best was the looks on Ami, LeAnn and Julie's faces as more and more votes turned up for LeAnn. And the looks on Sarge and Chad's faces (jury) as they realized that Chris didn't get voted off. Everyone figured he was gone!!

Of course it was the ever emotional family visit episode.

From the stories I've heard, this is worse. Seriously. The woman can't, and shouldn't try to cook. It's just NOT good. Actually, I can't remember a time when she's ever cooked for me. It's just the stories I've heard from Mike from his childhood. They ate out most of the time and if his mom DID cook, it was nearly inedible.

Give me Taco Bell anyday.

Actually, after dinner that night they are taking us to a place called "The Villages." It's some big shopping complex. And at the very least I figure there will be SOMETHING to eat---a pretzel, ice cream, anything!

No, if they were reading our thread, they wouldn't have planned their semi formal and formal nights like they did. They would have KNOWN we wanted something different!

I most didn't like Ami. She was the power, telling all the girls what to do. Eliza was annoying, but harmless. Twila...ah, Twila....I wasn't sure she'd follow through...so many times she has said one thing, then at the last minute voted another way.

Btw, Ami got immunity.

We only had two accidents. Someone (not me) lost a fingernail peeling potatoes......
and some sweet potatoes accidentally got spit clean across the table..all over Ruthie's dad. Of course, neither one required a visit to the ER (or ED as you all say)....but if it were your ED, I would have come anyway, just to say hi!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I'm going to venture out a little later this morning. One of the local furniture stores is offering a DVD if you stop in. It has two very sentimental shorts on it. I'm not sure anyone but someone from Chicago would know them, but just in case. They are "Hardrock, Coco & Joe" and "Suzy Snowflake". They used to be played every Christmas by one of the local children's shows. The store opens at 10 so I'll go over and see if I'm lucky enough to get a copy. Other than that I'm staying away from the malls!


OM - so I wonder what that other mother thinks now. Not only is your "Christopher Robin" doing opening night, but he's the one with his picture in the paper!

Well I'm off to read the boards.

Hi all
the half-time show was the highlight of the game. The Lions got blown away by that cute QB- Payton Manning and the Indy Colts. I guess if you are going to be absolutely creamed, its better if the guys are cute. (not sure the Lions see it that way) I had a great time we had really cool seats in the "Club" section. I went with my OB/GYN and his brother. He is a great Doctor and a really neat person too. (and he has good connections - his DB an ED Doc also works at Ford Field- hense the tickets.

No after Thanksgiving day shoping for me today - I think I am going through withdrawl. I really didn't see anything in any of the flyers that I wanted to get for these guys - no cruise DOCS.

I am going into work for a couple of hours as I have some evaluations that are due next week and I need to get them done.

Hope everyones Thanksgiving was Great.

I think Diana's post was in reference to Stacey's post in which she said something like "maybe they are going by your pirate last name, varralet" if in fact the docs are mailed out alphabetically.

So Diana suspected if that was the case then they've been reading the boards to know that her last name started with a "V."

Hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving.

Ours was pretty good up until the point that DS confessed that he has lost his retainer. Hasn't been wearing it since soccer practice on Monday. Said he wrapped it in a tissue and left it on the table. Well I am positive that it got thrown away and taken out with the trash Monday night because we have trash pickup on Tuesdays, but I made him dig through all the trash anyway. Called the orthodontist this morning and they are closed until Monday. I know it takes about 2 weeks to get a new retainer, so I hope he can get it done by cruise time. Needless to say it kinda spoiled the day. Didn't budget that $200-$300 either. GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Okay I am done now.

Karen- great picture. All the costumes look wonderful. If you get a vhs we could all watch it in one of our cat 3's. I think they have vcrs not dvd players, but not positive.

I don't think we are doing any shopping here today, but may change my mind later. Kristen really wants to go, but there isn't anything we have to have to make it worth fighting for.

Hope eveyone gets their documents today!!
