I don't know how much I will be on today, but I will watch the post count. We definitely want gaRry to get 15,000.

I have the DirectTV guy coming today because we are finally getting local channels. YEA!!!!! I am so tired of having to watch fuzzy local channels with the antenna. My life is really exciting isn't it. Maybe I can get some packing done for the cruise.

The other excitment around here is waiting for our cruise documents. I ordered some things online recently and every time I see the UPS truck pull up I get so excited thinking it might be my docs, but no such luck. We are less than 40 days now, so it is getting so close.

Just thought I'd help us get to 15 and say Happy Veterans' Day. We of course have school today - one of the hurricane make-up days. They took away today and Presidents' Day but didn't touch some other holidays. Don't get me started on that subject.
I'll leave tomorrow afternoon after school to drive to Orlando. So anxious to see DD and then Super Soap Weekend at MGM. I'll admit it - it's an addiction, similar to the DIS board!

I've done most of my Christmas shopping online this year (we have done that for several years) so the UPS guy is a regular face around here! Yesterday I knew a certain package was coming and I had to secretely intercept him b/c the company sends it's boxes with their name all over the outside! It's pretty hard to explain to the kids why we just got a large Playmobil box without giving away Christmas.

I remember the year amazon.com sent a Chuck E. Cheese pizza oven. Nick wanted to get that for KT for Christmas. I pulled into the driveway and THERE IT WAS, in it's original box, sitting in plain site on the front porch!! I wrote to amazon.com and chewed them out!

Too much stress. I don't think I'll post too much today (at least not until after 15,000). I don't want to be a . We're having a "goodbye" party after work today. One of the "owners" (I put that in quotes because the wives are actually the ones that own the company even though they aren't involved in the day to day runnings of it) and one of the employees (the other guys BIL) are in the Vermont Army Guards and have been deployed to somewhere "warm and sandy" (their words). The owner is the main engineer for the company (he's the one who generates a lot of our work) and his BIL has 5 kids (the oldest is something like 7). We're a small company too (only about 25 employees), so that makes it even worse. I guess it's an appropriate day for the party anyway.

You "boys" were really funny last night! Thanks for the morning laugh out loud...and a snort even!! put an eye out....too funny...

I left Jay a note by the coffee for this morning telling him how much his children appreciated that he defended our country...and reminding him that due to that, there was no school, so don't wake us up!!

Hey Mark - I have to agree with you. We have had DirecTV for almost 5 years now and we love it. We are finally getting local service in our area so they have to put on an additional dish and we are getting two DVR(TiVio) receivers. Should be an exciting day, no more fuzzy local channels. YEA!!!!

Latest news from DCL....THEY have everything all planned....Navigators and all......they are not releasing that info to any of the group coordinators, wedding planners, TA's......yet..... no idea what they're waiting for.

Sometimes I have things delivered to my friend's house because we have a P.O. Box for USPS, UPS goes to my office, and if I'm not sure how things are going to be delivered, I give her address, because she gets all of it at home.
Anyway....she called last night and said I had a small box there...I got all excited (my documents go to her house) .......just something that had been on back-order & I had forgotten all about it! Bummer!
