2004 Candlelight Procession at Epcot

Does anyone know if any info is out on the 2004 event? All I can find is 2003. I see the 2004 MVMCP info, so I thought I may be just missing it.

If anyone did the dinner package last year, when were you able to make your PS?

I recollect late August, early September, with narrators announced late Sept or there about. I am sure others will have exact dates for you.

the packages will go on sale before the narrators are announced. we have been very pleased w/the ones we have had in the past. keep in mind christmas eve and christmas day performances sale out very quickly. if those are your dates, i would definitely book before the narrators are announced. hope this helps!

When you buy your tickets you will be able to book your PS at the same time. This is so you can choose time which either dinner or show you want to see.

We will be doing CP for the first time on this next trip. According to previous posters, I see that tickets go on sale in Aug/Sept. Does anyone know the definite date or time frame (like 90 day prior)? Since we are going so close to Christmas, I want to make sure I get my Dinner package tickets. Also does anyone know the times of the shows and how many they have per night? This will help in my preliminary planning for that night.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

there are 3 performances a night. sometimes disney will "black out" a performance on certain datess. the times are 5:00, 6:45 and 8:00. we prefer the last time just because, no real reason. except maube we dine early.

When the packages go on sale, they go all sale for all dates, they don't follow the 90 day rule. If you are going around Christmas, I would watch this board for news on when they are available and call right away. You can change or cancel up to 48 hours before the performance date.

If you change your mind can you get a refund?

I want to do the 8:00 CP on Christmas Eve. However, I only want to do the package if the narrator is someone I'll enjoy.

You can cancel your reservation and get a refund up to 48 hours before the performance date. They usually have someone good for Christmas Eve.

Last year we purchased our tickets on 8/25. I think that was the first or second day they were on sale. We were able to make our priority seating at the same time.

I wouldn't worry about who you get for a narrator. The list always has excellent voices. Don't pre-judge a narrator, especially if you want some day special, like Xmas eve.

Case in point, I planned out our days and hoped for a great narrator our first year. I was dissapointed when the list of narrators was released and I got someone named Joe Mantegna. "Who?" I thought. Well, not wanted to screw up my carefully planned itinerary, I just resigned myself to it.

Did I feel like a fool when CP was done! Joe was an excellent narrator with a fine speaking voice that was the perfect depth and quality for the story of Xmas.

Now, I just pick a date that works around our other plans because I know that any narrator Disney asks will be fabulous.

I also concur with timing that the packages are released in late August/early September.

But there have been years when the narrator list has not been released until October. AND you have to expect that changes can occur in the list up until the date of performance. It's happened at least once every year since I have been watching the CP narrator lists.
