I've made reservations at the Big River Grille for 5:00pm on Friday, December 5th. We have 4 tables outside on the patio that they will rope off for us. That will seat 16 people comfortably. I will call them a week prior to update the number of people.

I told them we weren't going to be ordering dinner - just drinks and maybe some appetizers. But, if you decide to have dinner, I'm sure they won't argue.

Anyone going to MVMCP and if so which one? maybe we can plan a meet before and have dinner at CP?

I'll be there from 11/28 to 12/8. I'm not going to MVMCP, but if a meet is planned BEFORE that, I'd love to go.

Afterwards...does anyone want to take the boat launch over to Epcot to attend Towncrier's DATW (Drink Around The World).

I may have one beer, maybe a Michelob Ultra with 2.6 grams of carbs or maybe just water.

Two years ago, (I was at MGM Fantasmic and the MGM Osborne Family Spectacle of Lghts last year) a bunch of DISers just walked around the Epcot lake talking and lauging with each other and then watched Illuminations.

You don't have to drink, you don't have to do anything except be with DIS friends and have a good time.

I can't wait to see everyone.

Ray - The last I heard (read) the DATW tour was going to begin at 6:00 at the Big River Grill, so that WISHers could join in from there. Has that changed? If that's the plan, then I will definitely join in for a drink before Amelia & I have to leave for dinner!

DATW officially begins at 6:30PM at Rose and Crown. It unoffically begins at 6PM at the Big River Grille. I made the change to reduce any confusion that might arise from starting DATW outside of the World Showcase. I intend to be lurking about Big River Grille between 5PM and 6PM. I have heard rumors that there is going to be a conga line from BRG to R&C at 6PM.

Amelia, my DD (chichihoney) and I will be there. Can't wait to meet all my WISHer friends! My DH will be with us also, but he'll probably wander off for a beer. LOL We will also be at MVMCP the night before, with my whole family. It's my granddaughter's first trip to the World! She is so excited! (Me, too)
