I know that I may watch and listen the Epcot Candlelight Processional from outside or wait an hour in the stand-by line in hopes of getting a seat inside the America Gardens theater, but I mainly want to get a Candlelight Processional package to eat a nice dinner and then sit up front for a great view.

But I am also waiting to see who will be the narrators this year.

Which narrator for CP would you like to see and hear? (I'd like to see Mr. Disney.)

Which restaurant would you like to eat at? (my favorite is Le Cellier.)

Which of the three show times would you prefer to watch? (I like the last show, maybe the second show, but not the first show which is still daylight.)

What time do you like to eat your CP package dinner? And they limit the times depending on the show that you go to, and sometimes the popular restaurants run out of CP package priorty seatings. (I like eating before the CP so that I can find a spot to watch Illumination fireworks.)

Do you think that they will give us a shopping discount again with the CP package?

So tell me some of your experiences, or ideas.

Who is planning on purchasing a Candlelight Processional this year?

I had to give this one a lot more thought, Ray. I have only been to WDW in Dec once so I have only seen this once... so all I have to go on was my time last year. I believe we went to the second showing because we had dinner beforehand when it was still light out and for the show, it was dark out (I think the sun sets at 5:30 that time of year). Dinner was at Marrakesh and it was fun and fabulous!!!!!! I am open to pretty much anything for dinner.

I think though that I would like it after dark as well and dinner time is open to me... I'll just eat accordingly that day. I think I would prefer eating before hand as well for the same reasons you said. Plus it is nice to sit and relax after a good meal :)

I hope they have that discount because I got some nice stuff last year with it!

So I am very open on this, I would love to see Mr. Disney but I am not sure I'll be there early enough for that. And I'd probably be open to any narrator. Definitely something I want to do while I am there though!

The best show to watch is the 8:00? show. That is the only show that you can actually see the lighting effects that they have designed and it does add to the show.

I have had dinner first and gone to the last show. Last year I went to the 2nd show (it was dark) and ate afterwards. It makes little difference to me. I don't care that much about the narrator, especially since they aren't announced until after I've made my reservation. I plan to go on Saturday, Dec. 6th with some friends from my hometown, and probably eat at Rose and Crown - since none of us has eaten there before.

We plan on doing this only once during our December trip, but we plan on booking 2 nights for it depending on whether or not they offer the shopping discount again this year.

Monday the 15th is our main Epcot touring day. I would like to do the dinner at Rose & Crown late and arrange for the early CP showing. Depending on weather forcasts, we might actually do CP this day, but most likely, we will just use this to our advantage in order to be at the Rose & Crown for Illuminations!

Thursday the 18th, we want to do the early dinner at Le Cellier and the late CP showing. On this day, we will be doing EE at MK and hopping to Epcot for the evening just for dinner and CP.

I feel that last year's deal was good enough to make it worth it to do this both days. Mickey

I've never seen the CP-this year will be my first time. I definitely plan to get the package, even though I'll be solo and I'm not crazy about sit-down dining. But I really want to get the best seats possible for the CP. Probably planning to go to the second show and eat after, but I'm not sure. And I don't know where to eat-any suggestions? Right now I don't care too much who the narrator is-I'm just so excited to be going!

Simba's Mom : Last year they had three different tier price packages to choose from.

Many of the restaurants are wonderful.

What is your favorite type of food?

The seating is a reserved seating "area" and not individual seats. About 10-15 minutes before the start of the CP program they open up most of the seats to everyone in the park, so get there early for a good seat.

Mickeysaver : I like both those restaurants, too. I hope that they give the discount, too.

I agree with you guys, too, NancyIL, Robert Walker and helenabear.

I hope to see everyone there.

The CP dinner package is well worth it. We wouldn't do it any other way considering it includes appetizer, dessert, entre and gratuities! You can actually save some money with it.

We have dinner at Le Cellier...you can't beat their cheese soup and Filet Mignon!! Then the 6:45 show...it is dark by then.

That's geat Nancy.

I'll be going on Saturday, December 6, 2003 after the Mousefest greet and meet.

Ray - same day as me! We'll be at the 6:45 show followed by dinner at Rose and Crown. :)

We are going Dec 3. The 8:15 show with dinner before hand. I have seen the second and third shows. I prefer the third show.

We have CP Package for 12/11/03 this year.Dining part is at Japan where we have 4:30 dinner reservation then going to 6:45 CP.We have always gone to 6:45 show for the 12 times we've attended.I like seeing the show after dark it seems to be more dramatic. We have had Le Cellier has part of our CP Package in past and is one of our favorites. Also went to Italy one year and did not enjoy dining experience.Last year we had John Tesh for our guest narrator and he was great. This year we don't know yet who will be our guest narrator looking forward to seeing who it is when Disney gives out list and dates of speakers for this year.See you soon at Dis Meet on 12/7 at OKW Belinda and I are excited we are going to get to meet some great Dis folks. Also great to see how well you are doing on your weight loss program. Danny
