$200 more for outer building GF vs. BC?

We love the BC and usually stay there. We have never tried GF and can get an outer building lagoon view room for $200 more than a standard view BC room (have tried all BC views and paying extra for any "view" room is not worth it to us). I know this is subjective but if you've tried both, would GF be worth $200 more than BC?

Is it $200 total? Or $200 per night more? How long is your trip? I might spend $50 or less, per night, to try it out, but I wouldn't go any higher than that. GF is lovely. Rooms are spacious, restaurants are good, pools are nice and, of course, you get the monorail. There are also some lagoon view rooms on the 4th floor of Boca Chica that, if you go out on the balcony and look to the left, have a partial view of the MK fireworks. I tend to prefer the EP resorts. I like the location and the lower price points, but, again, if we are talking a small, per night increase, I would definitely give GF a try.

We've stayed YC, BWI standard view CL, as well GF standard view CL. CL I would pay extra for but not in excess of $ 100.00 per night for a non CL room with view. The CL room up price gives us a tangible benefit (access to the food at the lounge) whilst the standard room with views benefit is based solely on the value (and use) the guest puts on it.

CL GF outer building is another $150, so $350 more than the BC room! And that's outer building, I have almost never seen availability in the main building so I can't even imagine how much one night there costs.

Main building is a LOT! I have, literally, seen suites at BC and YC for less per night than a regular room in GF CL main building. Like you, I'm also "epcot obsessed", so I'm happy paying less for regular rooms at any of the EP resorts!

$200 per night! Thanks for your feedback. I think my "value break point" is right here - I think the BC is worth it, but $200 more per night, I think for me probably not.

If it's $200 total, like others have questioned, then I would say go for it! We are lovers of BC, although budget often dictates that we stay elsewhere. I would love to do GF since I haven't been there since I was very young, but not if it's $200/night more. BC is already pretty amazing.
