I was glad to see Zeppelin and The Beatles (who could have guessed) were on there. Seinfeld too. I just don't agree with the #1 choice.

BRADY BUNCH. They were just a goody two shoes family who were just to PERFECT. I have to say although a good show suprised it was there. That could have been a space for full house or saved by the bell!!

why oprah?????!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! grrr...i wish the best musician ever and my personal fav, bruce springsteen, was closer to number one than number 76. oh well, but why oprah? the beatles and elvis deserved to be in the top 20 but oprah? sorry, i never was a big fan of hers.

Yeah, Oprah being #1 is messed up. It bothers me that so many of the people on the list are popular NOW. I mean, are they even going to be remembered years from now? Thank goodness Audrey Hepburn's on the list or I'd freak

that oprah thing is a little bit odd who knows what they were thinking even thouhg her books from her book club are good but yeah elvis or marylin deserved so much more credit.

Personally, I think that the Beatles should have been higher. Maybe not #1, but def. in the top 5. How did the cast of Friends beat the Beatles??? 50 years from now, Friends will be long gone (unfortunate, yet true) and the Beatles will still live on!!! (not literally) I don't really agree with Oprah at #1, should have been Elvis.

I'm not particularily fond of Oprah, i think Mickey amd Steven Spielberg should've been higher, and im not too sure Tom Cruise should be on the list, that's debateable.

well that's a weird list! definately(like most lists that get put out), the current people reign when in 10-20 years, they won't be remembered

I definately think the Beatles should be higher, and so should Elvis, and Marilyn should to, nothing is wrong with Oprah, i think she should make the list but NUMBER POP ICON OF ALL-TIME! i don't think so...what has she done for pop culture that's had more an impact than the Beatles or Elvis or Marilyn?

and J.lo-ARGH! I CAN'T STAND HER!!

Here are mine and Jules's classic people that are on the list....I hope I didn't miss anyone.......

4. Lucille Ball
6. Marilyn Monroe
26. James Dean
27. Frank Sinatra
34. Audrey Hepburn

54. John Wayne
66. Barbra Streisand
84. Katharine Hepburn
86. Paul Newman
87. Grace Kelly
95. Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable
110. Bette Davis
113. Alfred Hitchcock
126. Charlie Chaplin
128. Judy Garland
133. Julie Andrews
152. Bob Hope

187. Rock Hudson

thanks Rissah! :)

Paul is such a hottie...I think I'm gonna add him to my siggie b/c DANG! we're getting married! :teeth:

I don't see why The Beatles should be higher. The only stuff of theirs worth listening to is from Rubber Soul on. That's like four albums.

That's

Rubber Soul
Revolver
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour
White Ablum (2 disc)
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road
Let it Be

Most of their "deeper" stuff was on those albums, she loves you and stuff like that was early. The later stuff was all of the all you need is love and revolution and blackbird, stuff that had more depth to it.

Let It Be doesn't count. It was recorded earlier on. The White Album is easily my favorite Beatles release.

Paul Newman STILL looks good! not many actors can age that well!!(aka look at Brando...he aged horribly)

and his food is GOOD! I went and bought him cookies yesterday and lemonade and I can't stop eating it!
