I signed up for my coupons hours ago, they still haven't arrived. In the meantime, the flights I wanted have sold out at the cheapest price. So disapointing. It's going to cost hundreds more now

Your only hope will be to try to use them for baggage fees at the airport. There is no box on-line to enter a coupon code when checking in on-line. You may be able to use it over the phone if you checking that way. People have had some success using it for baggage fees at the airport but others have not had that same luck.

I haven't yet had to pay baggage fees. Last year they went into effect after I'd already paid for our tickets. This year we will each have a bag to check. I usually do curbside bag check in. Would I bring a print out of the coupon for each bag and give it to the curbside guy and pay there at their little counter? Or do I have to go inside to the AT counter and check in there and give them the coupons? This just may work out for us as we are going this Sat.! Also, if I get another ticket by using another email address, can I maybe use it for another extra bag? Or are you only allowed one per person? Wasn't planning on another bag, but would like it so we can get any stuff back that we buy. Thanks for any info you can help with!

ETA: Oops, maybe it won't work for us or for baggage fees for anyone. I just signed up with two more email addresses but when I did this I noticed it said

Sign up by December 31, 2009, and receive a $20 coupon good for travel through March 7, 2010. Hurry, coupon must be redeemed by January 1, 2010.

So we'd have to use it by Friday and we don't leave till Sat. morning. Is there anyway to check in bags by phone on Friday? Probably not, just thought I'd ask, lol! And, I don't suppose they'd let me apply it to my already booked and paid flight for Sat. either.

Okay, well I just decided to call AT and ask. They said there was no way to apply the voucher to the already paid fees. And, that they were only for flight reservations, they couldn't be used for baggage fees at all. Oh well, I'm not surprised, usually any coupon is not in my time frame.

We flew in December. We had already gotten our tickets when we found out about the $25.00 vouchers. We tried to apply them to baggage or even an upgrade. We attempted again at the airport. We had no success. We were informed that it was for only the purchase of tickets.

I read last fall that some people were successful in using the coupons for baggage or seat assignments. I guess it depends on who answers the phone or who is working at the counter. We had a marvelous person at the counter. It seems everytime we are at the airport she is working. She called various levels of management but could not work her magic.

If the coupon is free, it only costs you some time in attempting to use it.
