20/30/40 Pin code for fall- Give a Day/Get a Day participants only?

I just got off the phone w/ Disney reservations, checking to see if perhaps I had gotten assigned the 20/30/40 pin that has been floating around. She told me that pin code was only sent to participants in the Give/Get a Day program.

I am not sure I'm buying that?

She also told me that my best bet for fall promotions would be to call back after June 3rd if I was looking for room only discounts....I asked her about the Free Dining Rumors and she said 'well, we don't officially get told what is happening with that until the end of this month, but I wouldn't say it's out of the question.'

Anyway- I'd really rather get a room discount and be able to do a Mod or Deluxe and just add on the DDP, because I think it's cheaper that way.

Haven't there been folks who have been getting that offer without participating in the Give a Day program?

I did not not participate in the Give a Day Get a Day promotion - neither did anyone in our family. So I do not believe that is a criteria to get the PIN

I dis participate and did not get a pin. There was a pin early in the year that came with some of the GAD emails thanking people but of course I did not get any of those either

Rebecca .. you are smart to doubt that. I definitely did not participate and I got that PIN several times over.

I don't think there is a direct correlation... and even if what she said is partly true ... it may have been sent to GAD participants .. but it's been sent to lots of other folks too.

*sigh*

This trip is going to give me an ulcer, lol. We have a trip booked for the end of September, at the advice of our TA, to save a spot and get ADRs in place in anticipation of Free Dining. I really want to go later in the year, more towards Oct/Nov. I guess I'll keep hoping for that PIN!
