I think I'll skip this one, but some of you may be interested.
Such a lovely topic the survey is over.  ;)

"20/20 Research is currently conducting a research project involving feminine health issues. We are looking for women to participate in an ANONYMOUS online discussion. The purpose of this research is to help researchers understand issues related to feminine hygiene and vagin*l care.

The discussion will take place online in a bulletin board format January 22-24 and January 27-29, depending on which criteria you meet.

A bulletin board is a new, cutting-edge way to conduct market research with busy people like you. The discussion consists of about 15 other participants and a moderator. This format allows you to log in a couple of times a day at your convenience and take part in the current discussion anonymously. You will also be able to read everything that others have said and respond candidly.

You will need to log in at least twice a day for three days, and it will take you about 40-60 minutes per day to participate. You can log in from any computer with an Internet connection, whether at work, home or elsewhere.

As a token of appreciation for your time and participation, we will send you a check for $75 at the end of the study."

Please email Lori Covington.

Thanks, and we hope to see you online soon!

(No sales or solicitations, ever. Strictly research)

How in the world can you do research on "feminine topics" online when you can't even confirm what is on the other side???

That reasearch style couldn't not be so reliable, it only includes those able (and willing) to get online and chat about your topics. Would you claim it to be a sample of the population or results on whoever logs on? There's a big difference.

What is the purpose of your research? What is the meaning of your 20/20 title?

Tree of Life,

Get a grip. J&D is simply cutting and pasting from an email she received from 20/20 Reseach group. They sent me the same email looking for participants for a "focus group" type setting. It is 20/20's problem to decide if the participants they receive are indeed female, etc.

I attempted to participate in this study - like all of 20/20's offers, they do extensive screening to see if you fit what they need. I have yet to meet their criteria. On this one, I suspect that you have to have had a STD to make the group (that was the question on which I got booted cause I've never had one!)

Anyway, don't shoot the messanger on this one - J&D was only giving others a heads'up.

Thank you J&D

Amy

Thanks, gravymom! :D
You are welcome for the post. It is posts like that one that make me hesitant about posting at all:(, but it is posts like yours that keep me coming back. :D

WHOA!
Why don't you get a grip and understand that I have the same right to inquire and not assume what you already know?
Posting is still free, isn't it?

TreeofLife, please don't take offense, but it appears you are an infrequent poster. As you can see, J&D is a frequent poster who was just posting an FYI. I also received the same email, but didn't qualify. Here on the rewards boards we posts these types of posts all the time since many of us belong to the same RPs. We try to help each other earn as many rewards as we can.

Sorry Tree of Life,

Around here, "Get a grip" is code for my kids to stop and think about what they just did or said - essentially to calm down. I did not mean to ruffle your feathers

Sorry to offend

Amy
