Well the dust has settled in Itchville, the kids are in bed and the wife is showering. The van is packed or as we have named it the Blue Turtle, I was surprised we fit everything in and we have space thank God for the Yakima rack. Now all we have to do is go to bed, yeah right like that is ever easy!
We don't know for sure but we think we are taking the rural route we took a few years ago through Columbus,Cinci,Lexington,Knoxville (we tried the Trail of Tears Highway but that was coming home in the middle of a tornado at night so do you think we can find it on google no way) and down 75? Last time we went this way we got to the Fort in 17.5 hours. The funniest thing about leaving is they are calling for 79* here in Michigan. Well alas the Roaming Gnome is on the dashboard and we are packed. Now tonight better go fast.
Nite All

So it's been a full week since we arrived home, I guess I needed a vacation from my vacation.
I will start from the begining because that always seems to work out best.
Our drive down was easy peasy the wife drove most and I filled in where needed. Arriving at the check in at the Fort right behind our parents who had just finished retrieving the third mini home from Rv America.
We were informed that some how the reservations we made 5 years previous had beeen changed from perfered to premium, hmmmmmmmm sketchy to say the least. They called in a manager who said we have no other sites other than the 500 loop. We stated our past with Disney and he apologized and asked if we would be willing to move when sites became available.
We said if we have to, and they waved us through, just then the manager came out again and asked us to pull under the tree and wait. We did and he returned with three sites in the 300. (320,321,322) (321 was ours and happens to be the place where the twins came from) Laughing we thanked him and went on our way. Happy that we got our favorite sites !
Set up camp very quickly and made dinner, then off to go ride the monorails and do a little hotel hopping.
Day two was filled with a brisk walk in the morn with a hour of rocking away at Crocketts. Then off to the pool, the 16 year old was off with his two compadres to chase the girls. The twins loved the new spalsh area and they slid down the "THE BIG BOY SLIDE" as Finn called it.
Afternoon nap consisted of driving into Orlando to go to Wally world.
Back to the site for dinner and some shopping later.
It sure was nice to fall asleep to the fireworks and the light parade.

Just saw this thread and now have the Ramone's song stuck in my head!

Hope you are having blast and post updates soon.

Well we screetched into onto our driveway last night sleepy and sunburned, we have tons to do but will get to the trip report either late tonight or Sunday at work, LOL. It was great the twins were dare I say Magical !
Tired and not ready to unpack.
