Not sure where to post this but I received the confirmation for the Magical Express and the luggage tags but it didn't list my 2 yr old? Do they only list those with tickets? I just want to make sure we don't have a problem when we try to board the ME bus.

I think that may be a problem. We got the yellow luggage tags for my 17 month old, and I just double checked, but she also has her own magical express pass. You may want to call and check with Disney. I'm guessing you're supposed to have them (not sure if they'll let you take the ME without it?) Hope you get it all straightened out quickly.

Yup, every passenger riding ME should have a yellow luggage tag and ME voucher. Give Disney a call!

Yep, my daughter is 2 and she just got our ME tags. I was surprised that she got tags also but I guess it makes sense since she will have her own luggage.

Same thing happened to us. We didn't have a problem boarding ME; however, it did add "extra" time to the check in process because every passenger does have to be listed. Definitely take care of it ahead of time so you don't have to go through that.

Last summer my DS was 9 mos and he was listed on our ME documents and got his yellow luggage tags. Call Disney and have your kiddo added so you don't have any problems when you arrive.

Last year when we took our then 7 month old we got held up at ME for that exact issue. We were about to get into line for our bus and the cast member sent us back to the ME desk to get his ticket. Better to get it taken care of early so that that you don't waste time!!! Have fun!

I just called them and they guy took my son's name but said they would issue him a ticket when we got the airport. :headache: I would rather they sent me one now so it was one less thing I have to think about, remember, worry about, etc. kwim? Maybe I was too nice on the phone - maybe I should call back and not be so nice. :sad2:

I did not get my 2 older kids ME voucher--I got someone else's vouchers!!

Anyway, when I called ME they said they would just print out vouchers when we landed--we did get the correct luggage tags. I complained, but then the person on the phone, reminded me that we would have to check in anyway. It makes sense to me now.

We got luggage tags for my almost 2 year old but I thought we did because we bought him a plane ticket - did you have a plane ticket for your 2 year old? If not, maybe that's how they overlooked it

Yep we have a plane ticket for him. I guess that makes sense about having to check in anyway. Thanks for all your replies! :thumbsup2

I didn't get one for my dd 16 months but I didn't expect one for her. I'm glad I saw this thread! I just assumed that she wouldn't need one since she isn't getting park tickets either. She'll probably be riding on my lap on the ME.
I'm surprised my travel agent didn't point this out or catch it since she sent the ME tags to us. I guess I'd better do some calling on Monday.

Thanks for alerting this to my attention. :thumbsup2

DME is based on your hotel ressie. If your child's name isn't on your ressie then they won't be listed on the DME.

If that is the case, then I guess that is why I didn't get a voucher for my dd. But I didn't think any children under 3 were listed on hotel ressies. :confused3

I just called Disney and spoke to a cast member...they said that my daughter (who has her own plane ticket and will be 17 months at that time) does NOT need anything to board ME.

My under 3's have always been on the reservations for DVC. You may want to call back and make sure they add your child. They won't count against your occupancy, but they do want to know who is in the room.

I child under 3 isn't counted against your room occupancy but their name and age should be listed one your reservation. At least that is how I thought it worked when my kids were younger.

If you forgot to list your 2-yo for Magical Express, you may do so when you get there.

You should have him listed for the trip back to the airport to prevent seat count problems at boarding time.

In neither case will ME stop your kid from ultimately traveling.

We traveled with our 12 month old last year and she did not have any ME documentation. We were told that under 3 do not need anything to board. We requested and received a few extra luggage tags because we'd bought her a plane ticket and she had her own luggage.
