We got the call that a birthmom had chosen us to raise her son!

My birthday is 1/7, so 2004 was the BEST birthday ever for me!!!! Our adoption went off without any hitches (lots of roller coaster emotions, during the process)!!!!

april 29, 2001 was when we got the call about DS. we adopted him on his 1st bday a few months later

Congratulations, that must have been the best feeling ever!!

We will be egg-donors in February, basically giving some of my eggs to a couple that can't have babies with the woman's own eggs. We will also be having our own IVF treatment at the same time, with the rest of my eggs. Feel very proud - it's almost like getting the chance to be a parent twice!
