When you eat at a TS (buffet or otherwise) does the CM just ask the age of your children or do you let them know your child is only 2?

I was just wondering as my son looks older than 2 and I don't want anyone to think that he is older and give me a hard time about him sharing or eating for free at a buffet. He actually turns 3 two days after we get back from Disney.

Every time we sit down to eat they asked us our kid's ages and if we were on the dining plan.

If you are worried just offer the info when you sit down.

My daughter Aly princess: is tall for her age and talks very well. She will be 2 years 10 months when we go to WDW in early Dec. I saw another posting that said to carry a copy of birth cert. just in case. The age issue is funny it works out great for the dining saving us lots of money!!! :cheer2: but she was to young to get her hair done at the bibbdi bobbdi boutique, so for that I hope she will pass for 3. (I made the ressie)

Have a wonderful time!!

We figured it surely couldn't hurt to carry our DN1.5's birth certificate (especially since she wears 4Ts!). While we didn't need it, it was nice to know that we had it if we did need it.

When you make the ADRs, they'll put down your child's age, so the CMs at the restaurant will have it in front of them when you arrive. I do know that at 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's, the ages of our kids were repeated to us when we checked in.

I think this was what happened with us. I think the server just reiterated the info they already had. I just remember it being no big deal and our son was 22 months old and he was/is in the 95 percentile. CP definately lost money on that child. :rotfl:
