2 year old on DDP?

Probably a stupid question as this is all new to me, but we will be traveling with a 2 year old on our upcoming trip. If I read correctly, they have credits included on the dining plan, which makes sense for cs meals. I also see that they get ts credits if you get a plan with ts credits, however I thought kids under 3 ate for free at ts restaurants. Can someone please explain this to me? Thanks!

Under 3 children eat free...either off your plate, or at a select few Table Service restaurants they will bring them something. Or you may pay OOP for something for them off the menu.

They will not have any credits on the dining plan. Children under 3 are supposed to share meals with the adults, but at buffets they can get their own plate. I believe they can also get some special meals from some of the other TS restaurants like CRT. I think they will also be given a drink for free at all TS locations, but hopefully someone else can verify that.

We've been on the ddp with a child under 3 several times. They do not get their own credits. They can eat off of buffets or share with you.
They do not eat for free at all TS restaurants, just buffet or family style service ones.
They do not eat for free at CS restaurants.
We've never had them bring, or offer to bring, that child their own food in menu ordering style restaurants.
If you need something more than your food for that child, you can pay for something out of pocket.
We ALWAYS had enough food without buying anything.
