2 Weeks.. Where to stay??

There are 5 of us and we are going 2 weeks in March. Studio would be too small, so I'll need a 1 bedroom. My kids are young, so we will be doing lots of MK days, a couple at Epcot and 1 at each HS and AK.

No 1 Bedrooms at Poly, so that's out.
1 Bedrooms at VGF are WAAAY expensive, so that's out.

I really want a monorail resort, so that leaves BLT?

I was also thinking about doing a split with BCV. I know it's not a monorail, but I've heard the pool is awesome and the kids love a good pool. So I could do HS and Epcot on days I stay there.

Therefore, my current plan is 1 week at BLT and 1 week at BCV. I think this will give a good variety. Thoughts? Is there another resort I should be considering? I'm not interested in an AK resort, as it is too far.

Our priorities are easy transportation and lots of fun stuff to do right at the resort since we will be having a few non-park days.

since you say you are going to be more at the MK - then every day you plan to do the MK - would be at BLT - it is also great for Epcot with the monorail.

now bcv does have a great pool - but only if your kids are older enough and they are good swimmers - otherwise BCV does have a nice pool for little ones.

or might go with BWV since it is closer to studios. OR akv it has an excellent pool and if they like animals.

I would not do BCV or BWV, only because those MK and DD buses drive me insane.

I think BLT is a great choice with the two bathrooms.

What about VWL? I know it's not monorail but the boats are fantastic and you are one boat ride away from the monorail (two choices there, small boat to CR and large to MK) And a mere boat ride away from FW is lovely for non-park days.

However, I don't know the construction schedule.

I know you said you're not interested in AKV but it is an incredible resort and the pool at Kidani is amazing and they have a lot of fun activities for the kids there. I also found the buses there to be very empty and quick in April.
