We are a little over 2 weeks out from making ADRs. I normally change the list 9000 times. Up until and even while on the Trip Usually. I have had some restaurants booked every trip ahead of time and have never made it to them because we wind up changing our mind a few days before. But this is our Tentative Plan thus far. We will be on the Deluxe Dining Plan hoping for Fantasmic, River of Lights, and Candlelight Processional Packages so I know some of those I may not be able to book yet. I will just book something in there place and then drop them when I'm able to score what I want. I have a good Idea of the Booking order but any advice on ones I should try to book first would be appreciated. Staying 1 night at the Swan and then 8 at Animal Kingdom Lodge. (Also we know this is a lot of sit downs and a lot of food. We are trying to manage that by only eating two meals a day. I do not like the idea of waiting 45 minutes for quick service food and fighting for tables over Christmas. We very much enjoy sit down meals for the down time and to appreciate good food. We just aren't chicken nuggets, burger, and pizza every day people.)

Day 1 (Before Dining Plan Starts)- Espn 7pm
Day 2- 1030 am Bon Voyage Breakfast- Candle Light Processional Package (will likely book Cape May until CP Packages come out as that would be our 1st choice if we can't get a CP Package).
Dinner 645 Yachtman's Steakhouse
Day 3- 11am 50's Prime Time Cafe (Lunch) 5pm Ohana (Dinner.) I know these are closer together than most other meals but we really want to get in and out of Ohana so we can get on to the Magic Kingdom. Will try to space them out better other days.
Day 4- 1030am (breakfast) Tusker House- 630pm (Dinner) Jiko
Day 5- 10 am (breakfast) Boma- 6 pm (Dinner) Tiffins- Rivers of Light Package
Day 6- 1030am (breakfast) Crystal Palace- (Dinner) Hoop Dee Doo Revue 615pm
Day 7- 12pm (Lunch) Hollywood Brown Derby- 7 pm (Dinner) Sci Fi
Day 8- 1030am (breakfast) Garden Grill- 5pm California Grill (Dinner)-- Another one where we are trying to get to MK after dinner so closer together than some other meals.
Day 9- 11am (Lunch) Sanaa- 630 pm (Dinner) Teppan Edo
Day 10- 10am Kona Cafe (Breakfast)

I would book Ohana first then Sci-Fi.

Then I would check for the Bon Voyage, Tusker House, Garden Gril and Crystal Palace.

It always puzzles me that people think you have to eat chicken nuggets, burgers and pizza at counter service meals. We have been going since 2003 and I think I have eaten 1 burger in all those years. We tend to do 1 counter service and one table service a day.

I think just about all of your meals are too close together. I would suggest either earlier breakfast or later dinner

Agree that breakfasts and dinners would be too close together for me but I like later breakfasts on park days to take advantage of quieter parks at rope drop. So I'd move dinners a bit later if it were me. Also have heard of longer wait times for being seated at 'Ohana. Will this cut too much into your evening MK time?
