We went to our Target over the weekend. I noticed they had marked down their 2 way radios to 14.98 regular price of 39.99. I have seen them for 20.98 but decided to wait it out...and it paid off and I got both the Mickey and Princess radios! My girls are having fun playing with these around the house and they will be great for our next trip! :)

I bought them when they were $20.99, but since I didn't give it to DD yet and its still in package(unopened) should I try to get the lower price?

buy another set at the lower price and return it with the original receipt. Target will not price adjust on clearance items.

Thanks. I found a Mickey set today. The AM/FM radios were marked down to $12 something.

I bought them mostly for the novelty (we probably won't use them a lot). Do they work ok in the parks and the resorts? I'm thinking that a lot of people probably have them, so I won't be able to get a good channel to use. We probably won't split up, but these will work well if DH and DD11 go to the food court to pick up food & I stay behind with DD1 in the room. They can call me on the "Mickey red phone" to let me know what my food choices are! Although, we already had cel phones.... I also saw the AM/FM radio for 12, but couldn't figure out a great reason to buy it, since it doesn't have a cd or cassette player....

Bought these last week -- my girls are enchanted with them (they are 5 & 8) -- I tested them out around the block, etc. If you do NOT want to go stark raving mad, I suggest you set both of the units to "NOT LET THE GABBY PRINCESSES TALK"... Their mode of letting you know that one party has stopped talking is tres annoying...even annoying to my girls. There is a way to stop this, so check it out! HA!

Otherwise, they're very cute, and the reception is clear.

I do have concerns as well as frann that I might not be able to get a good channel with everyone in the parks using them...anyone had this experience?

We used them in the parks and had no major problems with other users on our channel. We had already agreed on a backup channel to change to if we could not reach each other, but never had to change it!:)

We used the Mickey ones and only had a reception, mixed channel issue one time. Our little calling sound went off and my husband answered it saying his name. The voice on the other end said, "WHERE are you???" in a very rude annoyed tone. DH was a bit taken aback as we were not supposed to be meeting anyone at that time. He said, "By Buzz Lightyear." Then the other voice came back and said, "uhhhh, is the Rob?" DH says, "Nope." And we get a very quiet voice saying "Oh, sorry!"

Pretty funny!
