2 Sets of Tickets on the same MDE account?

We are going to Disney in May and have 7 day park hoppers attached to our accounts already. My Dad has a business trip coming up next week and wants to go to EPCOT for a day with my brother. If they buy 1 day tickets can they add these to their MDE and use the hard ticket to enter the park? Should they just buy the ticket at the door to ensure that it doesn't mess up their park hoppers for May? The only way they could activate the May tickets is with the hard ticket linked to the 7 days or a MagicBand linked, correct? It would be awful is somehow he triggered the use of the multiple day hopper.

Thanks! :)

Once a ticket is linked to MDE, the card functions the same as a band; as a link to the account and all available tickets. Using a specific card doesn’t make any difference.

You’ve got two choices:
1. At the ticket booth, tell them to “prioritize” the tickets so the one you want to use is used first, or
2. Move the 7-day ticket to someone else in your MDE account so he’ll only have the one ticket in his account. Move it back afterwards.

If they don’t mind using the hard ticket for park entrance and FP lines, they can link the Epcot tickets to new people:
BestDad#2
Brother#2

And book their FPs. Use the ticket for park entry and FP lines.

Ok. I'll make sure they keep themselves separate. My brother is not coming with us in May, so he can set up my Dad through his account so no accidents! As always, thanks Hiro!

this is a good question. I have some old passes on my acct- and I will soon be adding a new pass for an upcoming trip. I can't switch the old passes, and I need the new one in my registered name that is attached to my hotel res.-so my only option is to hit guest services before entering the park to prioritize?

Do you have both tickets showing up on your MDE account? I've never had 2 sets at the same time, so that must be interesting!

I have two sets of tickets for myself, too...
One set of 7 day base, I’ll be using Feb 10, the other is a 3 day base that I’ll be using March 3rd.
Is there anything I need to do to make sure they use the 7 day tickets first?

Guest Relations for you, too. All your ticket entitlements need to remain where they are linked because you need to “hold” the FPs for your March trip.
