OK, another question -

I haven't personally seen either of these resorts so I'd like your opinions. There's four of us: me, DH, DD (3) and DS (7).

Would you get two rooms for the group at Pop Century and have more space, two tvs, new resort - or- would you chose one room at POR (maybe more atmosphere?). Money isn't the factor, under $200 more than POR for our stay for the 2 rooms at PC, so not even considering cost - what do you think?

Thanks!

I have DD(9) and DS(7), also DH. They all love to have thier space. niether of my kids like to sleep with each other and my son thinks he is too old to sleep with me and hates sleeping with dad. If i could I'd go for the two rooms. DH can have a Tv the kids A TV and you might have a bath all to yourself!!

Just my opinion for all that it is worth.

I have stayed in both of these resorts and both are great resorts in their respective resort catagories. I have stayed at POR many times and PC I stayed at last month for 10 days. Both resorts are located approx the same distance from major parks so the main difference is the difference in resort amenities and resort decor. Personally, I would go with 2 rooms at PC. Solely for the extra room. Your children are young and after a busy day of WDW they may very well conk out much earlier than you and DH. Having adjoining rooms at PC, where you can put the kids down for the night while the adults have use of the other room will be a big plus. Also the extra space, extra tv, bathroom, etc are also big definite pluses.
POR is a moderate resort and is a step up in the decor of the resort, sit down restaurant, pool slide, landscaping etc., over PC a value resort. But the additional space gained is worth the trade off, imo. PC is a very nice resort, as are all the value resorts. They are just not as upscale or fancy as the moderate resorts. There is a definite difference in landscaping, resort amenities, room decor, etc as you hop up the resort level chain, LOL! But ALL the WDW resorts are very nice. I think your kids would really enjoy the theming and atmosphere of PC. It is very kid friendly, with a nice food court, pools, etc., and I am sure all of you will enjoy the extra room.
Have a great trip!

Thanks, I appreciate your answers and I think you guys are probably right! It's so nice to have some separate space, sometimes I go a little crazy with everyone in the same room for days :)

2@Pop! You won't regret Pop Century! It is awesome!

We've stayed at PO-R twice with our 3 sons (12,8,5) and we love it. While we felt a little crowded sometimes(my 12 yr old is bigger than me) we weren't in the room most of the day. The biggest problem was lack of room for our clothes. That being said we love this resort.

The pool is alot of fun and we went almost everyday. The scenery can't be beat, it was always so relaxing coming home from the parks.

With only two children the ages of yours I would recommend PO-R.
