2 rooms, 1 ressie?

so, had 4 people in one room, mostly for the convenience of the fast passes...Decided to add a 2d room for 2 of them. We are all adults. I have the MDE and plan everything. They said you can't add a 2d room on a reservation. Have to make a separate reservation tho you can link them. Seems odd-- what if you want 8 rooms? Have to do it 8 different times? Anyone been able to have more than one room on one ressie?

Only if there's 1 adult and more than 4 minors.

I booked a bounce back for 2 rooms and they said only way to have 2 rooms under one reservation is if there aren't enough adults without doing that basically. We are going to link our reservations.
