2 resorts ?'s

Hello all,
Planning in my mind right now for our official second stay at DVC owners(haven't had our first yet..still have 9 months to wait) We will be going in October 2011 and want to do a split stay between our home OKW and VB. What I would like is suggestions on where to stay first. Should I plan VB and if its not available at that time, try for the end of my stay? If I can't get anything at VB while disappointed we won't be adding the beach to our stay would be perfectly happy staying put at OKW for the whole time.

We did a split stay at those same 2 resorts last year. We did 3 days at VB and then 4 days at OKW. We liked both resorts and we liked having the beach first. But, with all that said, we do not plan on doing another split stay as we did not like having to pack, unpack, pack, unpack clothes, beach toys, water bottles, etc - just too much work on a vacation. You really should not have a problem getting a room for VB in October, as that is their non-busy time there. We got an Ocean view inn room 5 or 6 months out. I would reserve where you really want to go first, and then change to the other.
