2 Reservations for the same night?

Hi All and thanks in advance for your help!

So, my family of 4 (DH, me and 2 young boys) are going to Disney with my parents and brother. 1 or 2 dinners, my parents and brother want to go to different restaurants and take a break from dining with us and the boys. I am making all the reservations for the trip for everyone. My question is, any way I can make reservations for both my family of 4 at one location and my parents and brother at a different for the same night?

YMMV. Sometimes MDE will let me make two reservations at/around the same time, and other times it won't. I usually (but don't always) have better luck using the app - the website always prompts me to cancel the first reservation before making the second. In those cases, I use a second MDE account (DH's) to make the second reservation.

Through the web site/app I don't think so, but you can call and do it.

We have two MDE accounts one for me one for my husband we use the second account when the boys want to dine somewhere other than us.

I have done it....you just need 2 different people to be in charge of the reservation.
So you can't be the main person on 2 at the same time.

I always have two names just for this problem. My DD is in charge of those pesky ADR's that I cannot make when we split up for meals.
