2 Reservations for the same dates

Back in November I booked a room at the WL using a BB offer. I now have the opportunity for someone to book me a DVC room for the same exact dates using their points. If they are unable to get me the DVC resort I want I would prefer to stay at WL with my discount so I don't want to cancel my BB until I have confirmation it is a done deal but the DVC resort is the preferred accommodations. Will the owner have any problems booking DVC for me if I have an existing reservation?
