2 reservations for 4 for a party of 8

We are a party of 8 and I have two reservations for 4 people at Chef Mickeys for the exact same time. Any chances that we will be able to sit together or will we probably be seated at two separate tables potentially in another room? I know we can request when we arrive, but I really would prefer to not have to wait for an hour just to see if we can sit close. Thoughts?

What time is the ressie for? That will make a huge difference.

The earlier the adr the better chance of sitting together. The later, just as you said, either sit apart or wait a long time to be together.

The ADR is for 8:15 pm. We might be there early because we will probably have to leave MK at 7:00 for MNSSHP. Do you think I could call and swap the 2 for 4 people for 1 for 8 people? Do they do that?

You could try and get a ressie for 8, but depending on the date, many places are already booked solid.

Being it is at 8:15pm you will most likely be sat apart. BUT there is always a chance.

My question is, do you have tickets to MNSSHP on this night? And if so, you do realize you will miss a huge portion of the party and most likely the parade and the fireworks (depending on if they start at 9 or 10 that night)?

We are not going to MNSSHP. We will be at MK that day, but leaving at 7:00 pm.

You could get lucky and also tell them you're willing to wait longer to end up with two tables near each other.
