2 quick questions

1) I"m reading the dining section of the Unofficial Guide and it says to make adrs 180 days for the Brown Derby F! package? Is it still 90 days until Oct 27 when they change back to 180 days? I have to make ressies on the 6th..

2)What time does the online portion to make ressies open up? If I have to make adr's on the 6th, does that mean it will be available 12am ET, which for me on the west coast would be 9pm?

I am guessing the book was published before Disney moved the ADR's back to 90 days. Right now it is 90. On October 27th, it goes back to 180 days.

The online system "turns over" at 3am EST (so midnight West Coast). If you are staying onsite and you can get it to take your resort ID, you can them make your reservations for up to 10 days. Many people cannot get it to accept the ID so you would only be able to make ADRs for the day your check in. At 7am EST, you can call and make all of your reservations (up to 10 days)

I'm not sure if I have answers to all of your question but I'll try. The changes to 90 days back to 180 happened so quickly that most of the guide books were never updated. The 2009 missed it altogether and I think the 2010 has already come out...who knows what it says. Everything is 90 days until they go back to 180 at the end of October. As far as the Fantasmic package...I'm pretty sure that you cannot book those online. You have to call. The online booking starts at 6am est..but I think that would just get an ADR to eat at the Brown Derby...I'm pretty sure you need to call to get the Fantasmic package..phone lines open at 7am est.

Didn't know that you couldn't book F! package online..

So for the online portion, does it open at 3am ET or 6am ET? I'm guessing this could make or break my hopeful ressies list!

It is correct that you cannot book the Fantasmic package online at this time. Don't know if you will ever be able to book it online.

The system turnover time was originally 6 AM but it appears to have moved to 3 AM. There was no announcment, it just became known that you can now book at 3 AM eastern.

just got off the phone with a cm, and she said that the online booking system starts at 6am ET?

Looks like I'll be getting up at both 12am and 3am to see which one works first! lol!

The CM I ended up speaking to last Saturday told me 6am as well. When I told her that I had been able to book my Christmas Day ADRs online at 3am she seemed genuinely surprised and even checked my confirmation numbers to make sure they were actually booked! I don't think the CMs always know the most recent changes/glitches/rules.

I would rather lose one day of sleep, then not get the adr's that I really want! Good thing I work for a coffee shop! lol!
