Question 1 if getting married at disney including land, world and cruise options what is cheapest?
Question 2, is it possible to take wedding photos in the park if I dont get married in the parks?

I haven't looked into Disney Land but a Memories collection wedding at WDW starts at 2,495 for 4 guests and includes location, wedding coordinator, one hour photography, limo, bouquet, violinist and maybe something else I'm missing. The cruise wedding onboard starts at 3,000 and you get a little more. If you go to Disney fairytale wedding website, you can design your dream wedding and it gives you an idea of pricing :)

Ive read you can pay to have a bridal photoshoot in the parks before they open and the last I've read, it's open to people who didn't get married at Disney as well. You can't wear your dress in the park though during normal park hours.

We were tossing up between Aulani and WDW and Aulani was a bit cheaper and given I'm in Australia would have been closer. But the options given with a WDW wedding are much greater I feel including things as simple as time of day...
I think Disneyland costs more than WDW.

You CANNOT do park photography in wedding attire unless it is booked with Disney Fine Art Photography. When I was booking it was $995 for a single park (Not Magic Kingdom) and $1800 for 2 parks (not Magic Kingdom) including album and archive disc. Magic Kingdom is about $1700 alone. All plus tax. You don't have to be having a DFTW to book this but the prices you're looking at for a wedding attire photography sessions in park outside park opening hours.

Depending on the size of the package you're looking at, the Disneyland escape package (which I last checked was around 5k) for up to 20 people including the couple includes the ceremony, personal floral, officiant, cake, and a 4 hour reception with a meal from one of their menu options for you and you guests is one of the lower prices best bang for your buck package in terms of a Disney wedding with an included reception. At Disneyland, you can pay an extra fee to have your pictures taken in the park before it opens after the wedding. In park pictures are only available to couples at Disneyland who have their wedding on Disneyland resort property (not necessarily in the parks). Note, you also have to pay for the services of one of their preferred vendor photographers to take the pictures, and that fee is not included in the fee charged by Disney for the castle shoot (or DCA shoot if that is more your style).

The big difference between the WDW escape and the Disneyland escape is WDW has a photographer included, but no meal, and Disneyland has the meal, but no photographer included. Not sure in terms of price how cruise compares to the escape packages. WDW does offer a smaller package for less than 5k, but as mentioned above, it is for 4 guests. If you have more guests than that, but less than 20, you're looking at one of the escape packages or cruise wedding.

A Magic Kingdom Bridal Portrait Session costs $1,700. There is no tax on any Disney Fine Art Photography products unless you live in the state of Florida.

Why is that?
I mean I pay tax on everything else...I don't live in Florida...I'm not even American...so why do I pay taxes on everything else? Why is this exempt?
Seems very bizarre...
Of course I find the system in the USA very bizarre anyway (our RRP list prices always include tax so you ALWAYS know EXACTLY what you are paying for an item and tipping isn't EVER expected as ALL servers are paid at or above minimum wage as their wage)

Because that's the way state sales tax works in the US. You don't have to pay sales tax on products that are shipped to you from another state unless the business also has a presence in the state where you live. Disney's Fine Art Photography has no offices outside the state of Florida.

If they delivered the products to you while you were still in Florida, you would have to pay tax. But it takes them 6 or more weeks to prepare the photos from a Magic Kingdom Bridal Portrait Session.
