We will be on the free dining plan for 10 days next month, we are staying at the Pop Century so we get Quick Service plan. My question is would they allow us to upgrade to the regular package for 3 days and keep the QS for the other 7 days?

We will also be on the free dining plan in October but are sharing a room with another couple. Will they seperate our credits per couple or will we all have to work through the same card

Thanks for any help you can give me :flower3:

1) no, it's all or nothing. You could make two separate reservations, but each would require a ticket purchase. Better to pay OOP for a few meals.

2) The credits are by room, they won't be separated by couple.

Thanks for you help, wish Disney could be as helpful :rolleyes1
How do people keep their credits straight if their not seperated :confused3

You just have to save the receipts and keep track of things by yourself. Somewhere I saw a dining plan card that someone made and each time someone used one of their credits, they crossed it out.

As long as everyone knows what they get each day, it should be pretty easy.

If you are all in the same room and on the same reservation, all your credits will be pooled and cannot be separated into different pools for each couple.

If you all eat together, it's reasonably easy to keep track of the credits. The dining plan has some flexibility, but it is generally designed to be easiest for groups who eat every meal together. If you don't plan to do that, it's best that each couple understand exactly how many credits are theirs to use and plan their meals and snacks so they don't go over their allotment.

And no, you can't partially upgrade. You must upgrade your entire reservation or none of it, or book two reservations, one upgraded and one not - but as Faldred pointed out, then you'd have to buy tickets twice.

Thanks for the idea, I guess I just need to get a little creative on how to record it. We don't want to accidently encroach on someone elses credits

It is most likely that we will eat our meals together, but not snacks .. we have one person who is very snacky, and one who probably won't snack at all.

I just asked everyone to save reciepts and I did a little accounting at the end of the night to be sure that everyone was playing fair. Honestly, with four of you for 10 days that is 80 cs meals and 80 snacks to go through. Last year we did 12 nights so we had 88 of each, we left a few unused even with eating some breakfasts, and with taking sandwiches and breakfast with us to port canaveral the night before our cruise.

We are planning on going in Oct with free dining staying at POP, can we upgrade to The dining plan that include 1 table, 1 quick service, 1 snack, if so how much? We have 2 adults, 1 junior (age 11) and 1 child (age 8)
Thanks

You can upgrade from QS to basic by paying $10 per adult per night and $2 per child per night (you must upgrade no later than 72 hours before you arrive, you can't do it at check-in). Your "junior" is an adult for dining plan purposes so for the whole family it's $32 per night.

For the OP - when you travel with the other couple you do not have to present one KTTW card and order four meals, you can order fewer than that and you can pay with any KTTW card assigned to the room.
