I know all you Disney experts love to answer questions so here goes-.... :grouphug:

#1- What does it cost to go to AC and the Comedy clubs in PI pirate: ? Is it a one time fee for entry or does it cost for each club and how much is it???

#2- We are riding Splash mtn first ride in the morning and the temps will not be all that warm so could you please tell me where to sit in the boat to allow us to stay the driest :umbrella: that we can?? I know we should just skip it but DH has never ridden it before and I want him to give it a try :smooth: .

I'm so excited- it's almost time for us to go! :moped:

It is free to walk into PI then when you go into a club you will pay 16.95 and that will then take you into all the other clubs.

DON"T skip Splash Mountain. It's great. One of my favorite's.
Sit in the back and you will usually not get as wet. That being said... I got pretty wet last Nov sitting where I would not usually get wet. There's just no saying I guess. Where a poncho and that will help a lot.
Most of the time I have not even gotten wet except for a few drops but lsat time I got quite wet!!

Thanks for the info- I know we will get wet, I just don't want to be dripping all morning in low 60 degree temps or lower :boat: we'll try for the back! Also, glad to know about the clubs

Yes, take a poncho. Also, you may want to bring some water shoes or something and take your walking shoes off to keep them dry. Otherwise the blisters are gonna kill.

Ditto. I would sit in the back of Splash Mountain. The first time we sat in the back and barely got any water on us. The second time my sister forced me into the front seat (cackling evilly the whole time). I should have brought soap and just taken a shower. Thankfully, even though we didn't wear our ponchos, we had wanted to get wet because it was so hot that day.

Wearing ponchos saved us from being drenched in the parks (practically saved our lives at Universal Studios/IOA, where everything gets you wet). They also keep your tush dry whenever you sit on a wet seat. We also changed out of our shoes into flip flops to keep our shoes dry.

I cannot stress the changing shoes thing enough. We live about 9 miles from the Six Flags at Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. We get season passes every year and one day last year DD and I forgot our water shoes. We got blisters the size of pancackes by the end of the day. And SFaKK isnt nearly as big as WDW.

We just got back yesterday and rode Splash Mountain several times. It was always a walk on no matter what time of day we were there, I suppose because it was a bit chilly. BTMR, on the other hand had 25-40 minute stand-by waits.

Ask to sit in the back row. Because so few are riding the cast members should let you do it. I had to argue with one of the cast members on one of our rides, but there were only 5-6 people in line behind us, so I really couldn't see his insisting we get in the front row.

We got a couple of splashes in the back but not the major waves that can come over the front of the log.

I thought in cooler weather they don't have the big splsh going down the hill? In any case, if you're concerned about getting wet, just wear a poncho!

I'm jealous, we're not leaving for 40 more days!

Have a great time and don't forget to let us know how everything went when you get back!!!

Well, I know that the last time I rode, I sat in the front of the boat and kept my shoes far under the scouped nose of the boat but we had a lap full of water. I think we will do the ponchos and wear different shoes for the ride :umbrella: - I agree with the wet shoes being very uncomfortable- we have season passes for SFoG and always take swim shoes along to wear on the water rides. Not only do wet shoes sometimes often blisters but they make your shoes smell moldy for ever after if they get wet in the summer when your feet are sweating anyway- they don't dry well- peyouQ!
