2 questions re: June trip

We'll be at WDW in June. We're staying at POR and have one night set aside to eat at Boatwrights. I recently read a not so good review of Boatwrights - does anyone have a positive dinner experience there recently. Also, DS 5 wants to eat at MGM at Toy Story Pizza Planet, is this worth a trip there? We won't have high expectations for wonderful pizza, but am hoping it's not too bad.

We have eaten at Boatwrights and it was fine. Nothing special but I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. In fact, dd and I will be eating there in about 3 weeks. There isn't much about POR that we don't like!!

I am wondering the same thing about Pizza Planet. My DS3 is way into Buzz and Woody so we will be hunting them down for a meet and greet. Heard the pizza place is right next store. Does anyone know if they any Buzz/Woody theme in the restaurant?

We were very "underimpressed" with Pizza Planet. It is basically counter service pizza. There are tables all over and there is an upper level. Yes, there are Buzz Lightyear decorations, etc., but it is not over the top as you would expect a Disney eatery to be. I felt that there just wasn't much to it.

About Pizza Planet... Our DS loves to go and we usually eat one lunch there. If he likes the Toy Story movie, I think it will be a plus for your son. The pizza is pretty good, not great, but it's fun to watch our DS play all the video games in there and have fun!!!
