I can't help with the Mickey ears as we haven't bought any for a while. The Disney Dollars are just like $1, $5, and $10 bills except they can only be used at Disney locations (and they have characters on each denomination). They function exactly like US currency and can be purchased at Disney stores. They aren't like gift cards that only give you credit back - you actually receive US currency back as change. $1 of my kids weekly allowance is in Disney Dollars so they can save spending money for their trip next year.

Only available at U.S. Disney stores. I tried here in Canada and was told only in the States

There are many different types of Mickey ears ranging from $9.95 (adult) to about $18.00. Embroidery is $2 per hat or $7.65 for the fine embroidery.

i am such a huge fan of disney dollars. i have told my family for birthdays, give disney dollars...it's something they can't blow on candy or toys locally. also, and some ppl will probably argue me on this one, but my kids earn disney dollars. IMO, school is their job, so if they do a good job, they get rewarded. 20.00 for straight a's on a report card. well, they both want to do bibbidy boppety boutique, so all their disney dollars are getting saved for that. It gives them a chance to decide what is really important to them. and if they really want to do bbb, then they have to work for it. i haven't gotten such good report cards.

Anyone know if the Disney Stores in Canada does the Disney Dollars? As this would be a great hint for the kids on the drive down in the Summer time to show them and they have to guess what its for LoL

I thought about the ears it would be great as being a 1st time going to Disney who knows when we could go again so it would be a special souvener for each kid

Thanks again everyone :yay:

I am sorry, I really don't know. I would trust that your Disney store is probably right about them only being carried in the U.S. But, if you are driving, why not scout out a few Disney stores along the route and pick some up along the way? Or if you have any friends or relatives in the states maybe somebody could send some to you. Have a great trip.
