2 questions about dining plans

1) I'm reading a lot of posts where people mention that they don't like being forced into eating things that they don't want to eat. Is this just because the plan doesn't include all the restaurants on property, or is it because the restaurants that are on the plan only offer certain items to people on the plan?

2) 2 adults and 1 child, each person gets the same number of meals and snacks. So, for sake of the argument, the total number of snacks is 3x. Now, are all of these meals and snacks available on one card? For example, on my KTTW, will I have everyone's food credits on my card? In that same breath, for the snacks, am I able to dictate which credit is used (ex: take the credit off of the child's plan)?

Thanks!

1.) dessert is included for each meal for each person. Not everyone likes that or eats that way but hard to turn down when it is included

2.) yes all meal credits are on each kttw card so you can use 1 card for paying for all meals

have fun!

It's possibly because the basic dining plan (the one most guests use) includes desserts at every meal, but not appetizers. Many guests prefer appetizers to desserts. On the plan, you get the dessert covered, but you can't switch that dessert out for an appetizer. If you want an appetizer in most cases, you will pay extra for it.

Children are also required to order from the children's menu where there is one. Some families find that too restrictive.
