The flight was awesome! We got the last 2 rows of the plane and spread out!! Both girls napped and had mucho snacks. We watched a few shows and read many books.

Thanks...I am going to take that advice and try for the back rows, too! With Austin being 1 he is at the age where he hates to sit still. I was not looking forward to the 3 hour drive and 3.5 hour flight. I need to make a plane goody bag! Enjoy Hawaii...I have always wanted to go. Wimp..I am I hate flying over the ocean, though!

YAY! I'm so glad that the weather has turned around. Josie and Lindsey are little fish also. Maybe a pool meet is in order!

I totally know how you feel. Joe knows how disappointed I will be if we don't get to meet. I will be bummed for ages

Yep a pool meet is a great idea! Though I shudder to think I have to put on a swim suit in just 67 days. I have been eating like crazy here!!

Did you get him his own seat?? I found at that age bringing the carseat was the best bet. If you did not purchase a seat you can ask at check in if there are open seats and use the carseat in one of them. Just an idea. Yeah, there was a lot of ocean out there!

No...we wanted to leave ours in the car. We have the double stroller and luggage. Since we are using Magical Express we figured we didn't need one. Not sure if we even have enough hands. Hopefully he and Jenny can watch a movie and take a nap. Its freezing rain here with 50 mile an hour winds. Post some photos...maybe I can get over my fear of flying over the ocean!

I've been eating like crazy too because of the stress of my current situation. Thank goodness there are some cute cover ups out there.

I know what you mean. I got a cute slip on one at Target. That actually doesn't look like a moo-moo or whatever those things are called! I wish I could find the photo to post. I could take one, too. Although I think I have already packed it!

Any advice on house packing? I am going nuts!

I used to move every three months when I was going to GMI. I got really good at moving. Unfortunately, we have been in this house for 10 years now so I haven't packed in a really long time. I'm working on getting everything sorted, cleaned up, and packed up now so that we can put our home on the market in the next week or so. We're waiting to see if our offer on our dream house is accepted. We weren't really looking when this house popped up. I have a ton of work to do

It's early aft in Kauai. We have an overnight plane ride back to Phoenix tonight! I really hope that both girls sleep. The plane looks more full than it was coming over.
We arrive in Phx a little before 8a. We then have friends coming over from out of town-spring training time in Az. Next week is spring break for the girls!!
I will do a mini trip report on Kauai when we return.

We are adjusting to "real time" Avery was up until past 9-reg bed time 745p and Cayley until 10p-reg bedtime 730p. Cayley slept until 9a, had to wake Avery at 915a. They NEVER and I mean NEVER sleep past 7a-usually are up at 630 or so. I then went to the grocery store and spent $$$. I am here now for a bit, but back tonight for sure! Up next a Kauai teaser.

So, as many of you know we took a family trip to Kauai. My huuby's parents go each year and this year they invited us! After a 7+ hour plane ride which went great-we landed.
