2 parks in 1 day (Mickey's Christmas?)

What do you guys think of this:

If we go to MVMC it's from 4-12 a.m. So, we could go to Animal Kingdom (open 9-5) and then to Magic Kingdom at 4...

I'm worried this might be too much in one day.

By the way...if I get a 3 day Magic Your Way and the Mickeys Christmas tickets, I can use the 3 days for AK, EPCOT, MGM and then the MVMC is a separate one, right?

A few years ago we did AK during the day and than did MNSSHP that night
it was DH Me MIL SIL BIL and three kids 9, 10, and 12

It was a long day but a fun day

That is what we are planning on doing on Dec. 18, but we are only going to spend 3-4 hours in AK, then back to hotel to take a nap (two kids 8 & 4) and head to MK for MVMCP around 4.

However we often prefer a little down time to recharge before going into the MVMCP. We also don't usually visit a park that morning, because it seems a waste to use a days ticket for only using it for a partial day. We usually use the morning we are going to visit MVMCP to resort hop and /or visit DTD.

We plan on heading over to Epcot for 1/2 a day, lunch at La Celler and then over to MVMCP no later then 4 p.m. for the party and some late night fun.
