I was wondering if it's possible to do Universal and IOA in 1 day. We have 2 days to do it, but that would mean starting our Disney parks on the day we arrive in Orlando. We are going in October. Our kids are 9, 3, and 1.

It's possible but you'd really have to push it. I don't think the crowds will be much of a factor unless you're staying for HHN. This might help:

October is a slow time so you can probably do it. The only problem is you won't really get to enjoy the parks that much. It would be like doing Magic Kingdom in half a day if you've never been before. You would miss a lot.

We easily did what we wanted to do in one day on our last trip, and have only been once before. Just set priorities in what you really want to hit, and get there at opening - even if you don't get it all done, you can get the highlights and get a real feel for the parks. Plus it leaves more for next time!

The lines shouldn't be bad in October, either, esp if you go during the week when kids are in school.

Are Saturdays slow at this time or just the weekdays?

TIA for any comments!

Sundays are usually slower than Saturdays. I was over at the parks yesterday and the lines weren't long at all.
