2 Park Unlimited Pass Price Increase

Did I miss the boat? We are a family of 5 (2 adults,13 yr old, 5 yr old and 1 yr old) planning our first trip to Universal Studios. We are staying one night and want to be able to visit Universal Studios for 2 days.

Just a couple of days ago the main Universal website had a 2 park unlimited pass for $89 a person. Now it is $94 a person (I think they added Wet & Wild - which we are not interested in).

It looks like we could still get the $89 per person price through Dreams Unlimited.

Has anyone ever done business with Dreams Unlimited?

And, do you think we would really get the passes for $89 or have they simply not yet been able to update their website to reflect the new $94 price?

Finally, if my employer were to belong to the Fan Club would we be able to get tickets cheaper than $94?

Has anyone ever heard of discounts for fire fighters?

Are you a AAA member? I bought the two park/seven consecutive day tickets at AAA for $80.50 (no Wet & Wild).

disney did their official price hike effective today.
when that happens, the other parks "usually" follow the same action.

i'm not saying universal will but i would not be surprised if they had a change in the near future.

or change the promos again.

I bought my tickets for the whole family thru Dreams Unlimited and had no problem and got the electronic pick up

While Universal has not officially stated any ticket increase as of yet, I fully expect it by next weekend and will be shocked if they don't announce one. That's what the parks do here...one goes up, the others follow.

Now Costco has it with Wet and Wild for $92.99.

It's only a couple of dollars, but that is nice.

Don't forget AAA members can show their card to get 10% off at restaurants and souv. shops throughout both parks and CW. Also gives a discount at their onsite hotels too.

This is true - I did some re-thinking about that. Plus we'll get a hotel discount in Hawaii next year.

I knew Disney was raising their ticket prices - duh! Should have bought them last week! Oh well...

I have AAA right now and am considering going to the local office and buying a ticket for myself before the prices change (right now it's $80 through AAA). I'm not planning on renewing my AAA account in September though, so is that going to be a problem when I try and use the ticket (either in 2010 for Harry Potter, or in February 2009 on a solo trip)? (There's also the issue that my AAA account is Southern New England, but I now live in Northern New England, so I don't know if they'd sell it to me up here! Don't you just love the hassles of moving?)

Maybe I'll just buy them from Dreams today instead. $9 more isn't that much and I won't have to worry about the AAA deal.

When I go to aaa.com it is still showing $79.99 for me. Maybe it depends on the area/what branch you are a member of?

I'm in the mid atlantic region. The website now says $89.99, but I called the AAA office and they still have the tickets for $82. I went and got 4 of them today. They still had a lot of them.

I didn't really want Wet and Wild, so the savings were worth it for me!

I just bought two throguh the dreams unlimited link, it does say expires tonight. However, we had little choice as I am in the UK and Universal does not want to sell those tickets to us they give us a more expensive option instead.

I still haven't seen anything in the Sentinel about Universal having a price increase as of yet so I'm thinking these other sources are just trying to sell tickets.

As soon as I see something from a somewhat reliable source regarding a ticket increase, I will post it.

i have just brought two tickets for the offer above just waiting on confirmation now to say i have them ..does anybody know how long this takes ?
