Not sure if I'm reading this right....$86 tickets I can buy now and not use until I visit, even if it's not til 2009?

Mine (purchased thru AAA) have NO expiration or use by date printed on them...assume they're good indefinitely.

hmmm...if i hold onto them in ten years they may double in value:idea: :rotfl: a PRA in the making.;)

What kind of tickets are available at the gate. I'm going to WDW in October for two weeks, but will probably drop by USF for a couple of days while I'm there.

I've got an old 3-day nonexpiring that we bought back at Shades of Green in 2004. I'm pretty sure it still has at least 2 days left on it. Possibly even all three.

Obviously, I can't find out what is left until I arrive. If for some reason it is totally dead, I need to know what I can buy at the gate.

Thanks!

2 park 1 day is $77 for an adult at the gate. That is why we recommend the $86 ticket for 7 days.... almost like buy a day or two and get 5 free! You will always pay more at the gate than in advance online for tickets..... you can always buy them online to be sure, and if your 3 day ticket still has days on it, you can save the one you just bought until another time....it won't expire until 'activated' (first use)

I wonder if you might could fax a copy of the ticket (front and back) to customer service, and they might could figure it out for you ahead of time?

Wouldn't the Ticketmaster deal be better? It's 2 Days 2 Parks +5 Additional days for only $71.36.

You can print these once you purchase them so no shipping charge. It does have like a $1.50 fee.

I'm headed down this weekend and I'm trying get the best deal and so far this looks to be it.

Sounds like it is, but I'm not certain. (We have AP's) You might have to do some digging on your own w/ Ticketmaster.....most peeps here buy the 7 day unlimited....i think i've heard of one other person using Ticketmaster

Good luck! :thumbsup2

I looked at that one too, and it was on a page with Florida Resident Promotions. I emailed Ticketmaster to find out whether it was for FL Residents or was it for anybody (I am not a FL resident), but they never responded. That's why I was afraid to buy it.

The one I looked at said nothing about having to be from FL........and I looked at every bit of the "fine print" over and over. I have just wondered why there hasn't been more "buzz" about that deal on Disboards?

We only need 2 days of park hopping but that still looks like the best deal.

I just pulled up the page again and found the same deal on two different pages. One was the FL Resident page, and the other one was for the Fan Club (I actually have an old one of those somewhere).

But it's changed since I last looked at it. Before it listed the extra days (a plus added to the 2 day/2 park ticket). It doesn't list those days now. Also, it's got an expiration date of December 23 (or somewhere around there).

If it still listed the extra days, I'd probably go ahead and get the Fan Club deal since we're planning on going in November, but we want to be able to come and go at will all week.

I'm getting frustrated. :headache:

In your case, if you're only doing two days and are going before the expiration date, it's definitely a better deal (it would have saved me over $50).

If I bought tickets to the BLue Men Group that also included 7 day 2 park passes, and we are unable to make it to the performance.....do the US tix expire? So our BMG tickets were for friday august 10th. Do we have to use the 7 day 2 park passes beginning on the 10th and expiring on the 17th?

It's kinda confusing!

We are unable to take our planned vacation this year, and will not be able to see the BMG. If anyone is interested in the tickets, they are poncho center row AA, seats 7,8,9, and 10.

email me for details aweber62@comcast.net

i know the 7 day (2 park) tickets don't expire until you use them first time ...THEN they will expire 6 days after the day you first use it. BMG is SO new, I don't think we have much info to help you with. You can call and ask them and see what they say. IF BMG is for a "particular" day, you probably won't be able to "save" it....someone else is sure to purchase that seat for another show.

I guess this is a lesson on why NOT to purchase BMG tix in your park ticket..... :scratchin

Bubba's Mom,
You and I are neighbors! Exeter is about 30 minutes west of where I live. small world!

i will call and see if our universal passes are still good even if we miss the BMG show. that would be cool....

thanks,
amy

Yep! Small world.....akdar lives near us too....barto i think!

i would definatley call because the park ticket should still be valid....you'd just be losing the cost of BMG

let us know what they say....as i mentioned, BMG is SO new, we don't have much info on that and your experience would help peeps in the future!

Hey Christophfam.........

Just get on ticketmaster.com and search "Universal Orlando". I just got back from my trip and used the tickets using the Fan Code: FAN62397. There was some question on if you had to live in Florida in order to purchase these tickets and use them. But the fine print says nothing about it and they did not question me at gate at all. I purchased the multi-day multi-park tickets for $71.36.......printed them at home and only paid $1.50 transaction fee.

*NOTE*......I did have a scan problem when I was walking in the gate. Your ticket is your printed sheet from the internet. After trying several times, they sent me to the guest services line. These wait took around 25 minutes before I ever got to the window. They just issued us regular looking (card style) park tickets and said it was an issue with the paper scan. I was kinda upset that we had to wait that long to get in to the park after showing up with printed tickets from home. The person I spoke with could tell this and used us 2 Express ride tickets each for our trouble. This pleased us because it allowed us to only have to wait around 5 minutes to get into Shrek twice.

I searched ticketmaster.com for 'Universal Orlando' and could only find 2 day tickets. We going in July from Ireland and would love to have the 7 days tickets.

Where do you get the 5 days free tickets????

Thanks,
A McGrath
