We are on next weekends 2-night Wonder cruise and would love to hear about the Oct 9 cruise. Specifically, I want to hear about all things Halloween! If you are able to post navigators that would be great.

I was on the Oct 9 cruise!! There was a Halloween party on Saturday with Trick or Treating so bring your costumes! Also, Halloween tree stories both nights so don't miss those in the lobby at 7:30. There was also a spooky story night on deck after the Pirate Party on Friday night. Also, there was a Sing and Scream Nightmare Before Christmas showing in the theatre on Saturday afternoon. My kids didn't attend the kids clubs so I'm not sure if there was anything Halloween there...It was a FUN short trip. Enjoy every minute!!

Was there an age limit on the trick or treating? Do you an idea of what Disney characters there were on board? I have a 15 DD who still likes to act like a kid sometimes. LOL She is very excited as this is our first Disney cruise.

Oh!! I am so excited for you! There were people of all ages dressed up for the trick or treating. Bags were left in the room for the kids to collect candy so your 15-year old will get one as well. :) The characters available for meet and greets were Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale and Donald. They were dressed up in their Halloween costumes too! So cute! We also saw Belle and I'm sure there will be others as well. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with! Have a great time!

we were on that cruise too. I just updated a short trip report in our cruise meet thread. :)

Halloween festivities are not just for kids! Adults dressed up just the same and went trick-or-treating. You must bring that bag they leave you in the stateroom or the cast members will not give you candy.

I will post the Navigator from both days when I get a minute

grrr, I'm sorry! it says the file is too large to upload :(

I tried to split them up into 2 posts but still not working.

How about sending them to the disney blog for posting? Here's a link to the Navigators section of that site.

On there there's a link to send your Navigators, and then they get posted. A central place for such info makes it easier for people to find the info than trying to search the whole DISboards.

I'm pretty sure it was successful...got this message from Scott "Thanks! You’re all done."

Thank you. We hadn't even considered dressing up so not sure that will happen.

One question is how did everyone dress for the MDR for dinner? I know shorts are not allowed but with this being a short cruise are they still really strict about it? Are jeans and sneakers okay or was everyone dressed in slacks? Just trying not to over pack if we don't need to!!

I told my DD about you seeing Belle and she was like a 5-year-old. LOL Her favorite princess still!! Thanks for the info!

Shorts are allowed. That was changed over a year ago. The only "dress code" for the MDRs is "no swimwear or tank tops for dinner". Beyond that you'll see all manner of dress.

Oh great thank you! That just saved some room in the luggage!!

The information on DCL says no shorts so is this outdated? I see on the packing list information when looking at my reservation.
