Hi everyone,:wave2:

Hope you're all well!!!

We only have 2 more sleeps until we descend on Disneyland Paris with our 3 year old and 1 year old and we cannot wait!! We are staying offsite at the Radisson as our friends are staying there.:cheer2:

Thank you to everyone who posts advice on the forum, you have been a great help and your tips are much appreciated!!!:grouphug:

Does anyone have any last minute advice for us as this is the first time our children will have experienced Disney?

Thanks very much!

Hi, I bet you are really excited!

Our children were that age on our first visit, it really is a great age to take them!

the key is to take it at their pace, don't rush around trying to get everything done, or else everyone ends up frazzled and probably grumpy!

Make a list of the things you think they would like, and prioritise those. Make time for breaks, see shows etc (get a schedule from the disneyland Paris website, and try and plan a little). I would also recommend taking a pushchair for both of them if you can, even if the 3 year old doesn't use one anymore, there is alot of walking, and it can make it much easier to get from A to B, believe me! And if your pushchair is expensive, I would recommend taking a lock for it (our Phil and Ted was stolen there, but we were VERY lucky and we got it back!)

Take plenty of drinks/snacks, as you can spend a small fortune on these!

Also pack some calpol, as this can be hard to find!

Have a great trip!!

Thanks Toria!! That's some good advice :thumbsup2

I had read that someone had had their buggy stolen so I bought a lock for ours. We still have our daughter's buggy so will definitely take them both. Thank goodness you got your Phil and Ted's back though!! Some people really have no morals!!! :sad2:

I am just about to start packing so will be sure to look out the snacks and calpol. I just cannot wait to see the excitement on the kids faces!! Yay!

Thanks again for your advice x

Have a wonderful trip :wizard:

Definitely the Calpol and probably a few paracetemol for yourself, I often find I end up with a headache or backache after such a busy few days .... I think the excitement goes to my head

Just to add if there are any special meet and greets you would like to do or think your little ones may enjoy to plan them in as soon as possible so there's no disappointment or rushing at the end of the trip. I only have the one dd and go to dlp with my mum so we tend to take turns in line whilst the other amuses dd and arrive early 20 mins or so.

Remember all the routine stuff, cameras, batteries/chargers and have a camera to hand ready for the magic to start.

Again just have the best time and enjoy it :cloud9:

Thanks Tinker! I agree re: the paracetamol for me as I already have brain pain trying to remember if I've packed everything! Lol!

I am so excited and can't wait to do the meet and greets - thanks for the advice!

Hope you have a fab time on your next Disney trip! 1 more sleep until the magic begins.....eeeeek!!! :woohoo:

Thanks again for your advice x

I agree re painkillers and calpol!
Which I must add to my list, thanks for the reminder!

Hope you have a great time and plenty of pixiedust:

dont forget you will need plug adaptors if you want to use the sockets at all to charge cameras/phones etc
