2 months, too early to make ADR's?

I already made many ADR's at my 180 + 10 mark, but I am wondering if I should make more? This is only my second visit to WDW and the last time was many years ago. I have breakfast taken care of for every morning of our stay and dinner for the night of arrival (5 of them Character meals). We do have the MYW + Basic Dinning. I figured we would be using our QS meal credits each day for lunch, but was wondering about dinner on some evenings.

What do you all do, just one TS meal per day? Are there enough decent QS restaurants to eat two meals a day at them? We will be using Disney Transportation for our whole stay so we won't have a rental car to go grocery shopping or eat outside of the World.

Any info/advise is appreciated.

TIA

We do two table service meals a day. Either breakfast or lunch then dinner. If plans change (which they usually do) then I cancel our ADR from any park phone and we grab a counter service meal.

We always cover ourselves and make ADR for dinner. Your better off safe than sorry.

:rotfl: Made all my ADR and we are not going until July. I am debating whether to add more.

We usually use most of our TS credits for dinner because you get the most value out of the plan that way. If you use most TS credits for breakfasts, even character ones, the DP isn't as good of a deal. If we do a breakfast it is done as more of a brunch (around 11) and then we use a CS credit for dinner.

Do you have any TS credits left? If you have the basic dining plan you don't have the option of doing two TS a day.

I find 1 TS per Day Plenty because of the time involved with
a Sit Down meal.
There are Pleaty of CS/QS restaurants with lots of choices
and we have no problem eating there once or twice per day.
This save alot of time.

We always do a TS for breakfast and one for dinner. We like to start and end the day with a good meal. Then we'll grab a quick snack during the day when we need to.

I understand that. We will be paying out of pocket for a few meals I figured. On the day we go to the MK I wasn't planning a TS meal for dinner because we will probably have too much going at that park to take the time later in the day for a sit down meal. I was just thinking about adding like 2 more ADR's perhaps, on the days we visit Epcot & DHS. A nice dinner before the night time shows.

After all the ADR's were made I figured I would use the meal credits for the most expensive meals and pay for the few others.

Also I do plan to have packaged snacks that I brought from home to keep us from being hungry in between meals.

This year at Epcot we are doing Princess Dining in Norway and Garden Grill for the kids, and Le Cellier for us grown-ups. Lots of people seem to like Coral Reef too. We don't spend a whole day a DHS, so we usually don't eat there.

Have fun at the WL, we'll be there in June!:)

We usually do one table service meal per day, except when we have breakfast at Kona or Whispering Canyon Cafe. :)

We are doing the Princess Character Breakfast at Epcot.

I figured we would spend less time at Epcot than any other park, but thought about doing dinner at Tutto Italia before we watch Illuminations.

It will be similar at DHS for us, expect for the afternoon parade we will stay for, but will probably take a break after the parade and come back for Fantasmic.

I think you daughter will really enjoy the Princess breakfast in Norway. I have never been to Tutto Italia. It's always nice to do a good meal in the World Showcase before Illuminations. Just as a side note, last year when we went, I wasn't expecting to spend as much time at Epcot compared to other places. It turned out that DD5 just loved Test Track, Soarin', and the Nemo ride (Turtle Talk with Crush is good too). I can't tell you how many times I had to go on each of those!!:)

We normally do a TS for dinner, we stay at Boardwalk and get the room with the kitchen so we do breakfast in the room, but some mornings also used snack credits to get a quick breakfast. If you plan on leaving DHS I would look at going to resort for dinner. It gives you a chance to look around at some resorts and also slow down and not be in the rush and hype of a park. Some restaurants directly in the resorts around DHS are great, and also Epcot is close to run to for a dinner. Epcot has some amazing restaurants we love them. You might be a bit suprised, my younger sister did not think she would like epcot either and now is in love with it and now has become her favorite park, her first time being there she was 8 now she is almost 15 and still claims it is her favorite still.

We don't eat 3 meals a day while at WDW on the Dining Plan.
We're just too full!
We just eat 2.

Here's what we do:

1) no breakfast
2) early counter-service lunch - around 11am (this way, we avoid the lines)
3) use our snack credits in mid-afternoon
4) table-service dinner (usually a character meal)
