for the next month to prepare? This is our first trip my 61 y.o. dad, my hubby
and our (will be) 20 month old DD and myself of course are going Sept. 7th
thru the 12th. We're driving from Greenville, SC. and staying at POP.
Visiting one park a day and I've already done ADR's. Paying the last $600
of the trip off on pay day (july 15th) and i'm researching the boards.
I guess I'm good.....just wait impatiently like everyone else?! Or any
suggestions/tip for preparing?

Sounds corny but coming from Mass., we were surprised how hot it was in October last year but after doing things the firstt 2 days, we found that we had to drink more water, pack less - ditched a back pack in favor of belly packs, ate less, and changed sneakers each day to let them dry out. Also, in the evenings, we found that going swimming in the pools at Pop was a great relaxer for tired muscles - so bring 2 bathing suits a piece. This year we're going back in September - end of the month - so we can go to MNNSP which is great! My wife and I (both 56) are doing alot of planning now - more shorts, less long pants, etc...Enjoy it!:yay:

have you made a count down calender? for me this is a must!! i love seeing the days fly by.
other than that its just a waiting game at this point.
you could prepare a touring plan if you think youll need one.
