2 months from now...

Tim, we're going out of Miami on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas. Ports are Belize, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Costa Maya. This will be my 6th cruise. My parents are footing the bill for all except spending money and excursions, so it's a beautiful thing!!

37 Days!!!!:dance3:

I've cruised on the Explorer, it was actually my very first cruise. Great ship! :thumbsup2

We did St. Thomas, St. Martin, Grand Cayman and San Juan.

I really would like to try RCCL..their ships look awesome! Your itinerary sounds fantastic. I hear Cozumel and Grand Cayman are beautiful. And like you said, the best part is your parents are footing the bill!

Have a good trip. :) And I hear they have pizza past midnight. :rotfl:

Yep and their newest ship, the Freedom, which we were going to go on and canceled to try something else,:sad1: looks AWESOME. It has a wave pool on the back for surfing and two cantalevered(sp?) hot tubs, which I think are adult only. :thumbsup2

My son wants to go on Freedom or Liberty, but I don't. I think they will be TOO big. I like the size of Explorer. We've been on Navigator twice, which is the same class ship as Explorer -- with the added bonus that we'll be familiar with the layout.

Yes Tim...you can get pizza round-the-clock.

We've been on the Mariner and the Explorer. Have you heard that they are coming up with something called the Genesis project, a ship that will hold over 5,000 passengers? The M, E and N all hold a little over 3,000.

Sweet Jesus! Those are HUGE ships. I think the Dawn holds a little over a thousand. :lmao: It looks like a row boat compared to some of the RCCL ships. ;)

If there is late night karoake Sue, I want pictures!

Our first Navigator cruise was supposed to be on Mariner, but I found out that it was a Hogs on the High Seas cruise. Nothing at all against bikers, but I have no interest in sailing with ANY large group of people, so we switched to Navigator.

I've heard about the Genesis project....crazy. Crazy, I say!

Oh...I'm dreaming about the Promenade Cafe....and looking forward to the Aquarium Bar!

The Mariner, Explorer, Navigator and also Voyager all are as wide as an 8 lane highway, and as tall as the Empire State building when standing on end and 13 stories from water to top.:thumbsup2 I have also sailed on the Sovereign and it is dinky compared to them. Had some interesting times with the bathroom, especially the amorous shower curtain. :scared:

Have a piece of pizza in my name! ;) I just can't imagine disembarking that many people.
