2 month old in September

I just bought a clip-on soft foam blade fan by O2 cool at my CVS for $4.99 last night! They were on the top shelf in the center aisle above the summer toys!!

We went last year with our 18 month old for the free dining. I think it was the 3rd week of September.

It was just too hot for us. We purchased an extra big stroller shade. We had a fan clipped onto the stroller, but the best thing we brought was the mister fan. I filled that fan every day with ice & water. I think the batteries lasted about 4 days before we had to reload.

We would get to the parks first thing and go until an early lunch. Then after lunch we headed back to CBR. We didn't go back to the parks until 3:30 or 4:00 to catch our 4:30 dinner reservations each evening. For us, the hottest park was Animal Kingdom. We didn't last long there. At Epcot, there seemed to be a lot of walking in the heat also.

For us, the heat was just too much. Our next trip will be a January one. This is not heat related, but we both felt that our umbrella stroller was making us weary by the end of the week. We felt rushed to collaspse the thing when a bus was headed our way. Then lugging it onto the bus, and up the stairs at CBR. Oh how I wished we were at a monorail resort.

That was our experience. Hoping to get to spend more time in the parks next time in the cooler weather.

My DH surprised me with a trip to WDW at the end of May/beg of June and our DD will turn 3 months old when we get there...we weren't going to go until september but I guess we will take the plunge and go early. I admire you being able to use the Moby and nurse while walking! I did manage to nurse my first child (DS now 2) at WDW at 7mths in a sling but my DD is such an on/off nurser I'd be forever trying to relatch her if I was walking around! We've never gone in June - do you think it will be as hot as August?? We went one year in august and it was dreadfully hot - spent hours at the babycare center when our baby napped just so we could be in the AC! This time, I'm wondering about getting annual passes so we can just go in the am and leave at lunch and go back and nap and not return...not sure if we can handle our sit and stand stroller, the carseat and our two kids on those buses...thought about not bringing the carseat but then if she wanted to sleep it would mean me carrying her in my sling which would make both of us real hot I think...this way I could put her in the carseat with a clipon fan...and DS could sit or stand on the back of the stroller.
