2 MNSSHPs - How to split up the fun?

We are lucky enough to be going to 2 parties this year during our trip. I wanted to know if this looks like a good way to cover what we would like to do:

Tues Party -
We have 5:15 dinner reservations at Plaza
Wander, meet any characters without huge line (Lotso, Cruella, Jafar, Genie), get some candy, rides
Get a good spot for the parade (Frontierland or in front of castle?) *this is where I get lost. Is there a spot with a good view of BOTH the stage show and the parade?
Watch stage show and parade (only possible if good view of both)

Thursday Party -
No dinner plans at MK / either eat at hotel and grab something light during the party or QS around 4:30 so we can get in line for Jack & Sally
Line up early to see Jack & Sally
Catch a few more characters, rides, candy
Celebrate the Magic & Hallowishes

We also want to go to the Monsters Inc dance party, but that seems easy enough to throw in whenever.

Does this seem to make sense? Is there anything major I'm missing? Our kids are 5, so going to the later parade is out. We will feed them candy to keep them going as long as possible though!

Looks like a decent plan to me. I always preferred doing the later parade myself but some times would view the first one in Frontier Land and if it worked out would watch the later one along Main Street. I don't think I ever took the time during MNSSHP to watch the stage show as it was always too crowded for me. I have watched the stage show for MVMCP.

I actually kind of like the parade over near Frontier Land. The one time we were there for party we caught it over there and it felt a little spookier somehow. I think you're right about the stage show, but my kids want to see it. We watched it on youtube and they loved it, but told me it's too long, so maybe we won't put that in our official plans. We can watch parade by Splash Mountain and catch the stage show IF we happen to!

My DD has always loved the characters. That is the big thing for her at the parties. We typically spend one night going from character to character, and the other night we do parade, castle show, fireworks, and for MNSSHP the haunted mansion area is really great (there are magic photopass shots with the ghost carriage and hitchhiking ghosts and a fun ghost on the lawn (Carlotta and Renatta switch off) that can tell great stories. Several of the characters will be wearing Halloween costumes, and you won't find that during the day. Pooh and Friends wear costumes, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. Also you will find Tarzan, Jane and Terk out during the party and you can't typically find them during the day. Captain Jack Sparrow is typically pretty fun to meet too and he is only out during parties.

I always like it there too. It's a little darker in that area and it does lend a little bit of a spooky feeling to it.
