.2 miles to the room, anatomically correct building in Morocco & Drinking Living Seas

We finished dinner, then went to the car to grab our change of clothes for the Halloween Party. I didn’t end up wearing a costume. I wore my “True Blood” shirt & black capris. We went over to the Magic Kingdom & were just in time to line up for the first parade. Everything was great- we were talking with the family next to us & they were very nice. Then a woman planed herself next to- but almost on top of- me & during the parade, she waved to every character- and right in a lot of my photos. Besides that, when she got there I was sitting & she crammed herself next to me & stood there with her butt right in my face. I was NOT happy. See?

Sorry for the quality of the parade photos…everything moves so fast & my flash kept focusing on that woman next to me’s hand. I swear I must have cropped it out of almost every photo.

I just love all the parade pictures. MNSSHP has to be my favorite thing in all of Disney.

Great pictures at the Cali Grill too. I've only been there after dark so I've never really gotten to fully enjoy the view.

Forgot to comment on your pumpkin carving, it looks amazing!!! You are truly talented.

About that woman, I guess some people just really feel entitled to the best and too bad for others.

Love the pictures!! Great update. We had something very similar happen to us at the Halloween parade last year, and I was very annoyed. We stayed behind the line like we were told and as soon as the parade started a group of people jumped right in front of us :headache::mad:. I told Dale from now on I will not stay behind the line either :rolleyes1.

The pumpkins are AMAZING!!! Very talented!!!

Oh my word............you're an updating gal! I can't even remember everything I wanted to comment on.

Why would anyone want to fuss at you for being a vegetarian? That's your personal choice, not their's. I was glad to see that there were quite a few choices for the vegetarians on the F&W menus.

What a great view you had at the restaurant! You couldn't have asked for a better seat. You know I would never tire of seeing the sunset pictures.

I bet you were ready to kick the woman who pushed her way in front of you at the parade. You know good and well that she knew she was in your way.

Thanks! I really love MNSSHP, too. California Grill has such an awesome view. I remember one afternoon- I think in 2000- that we watched a thunderstorm roll through. That was great- I wish I had photos of that!

Thanks! I was just kind of surprised at how oblivious that woman was to her surroundings. I think it is because I am SO far the opposite of that. If I notice kids behind me, I always let them in front of me to see the parades & I try not to lean in front of people next to me who are taking photos.

Thanks! I am really bothered by inconsiderate people like that! I don't usually say anything to them, though...unless they catch me on the wrong day. Then they get an earful! :rolleyes1

Welcome & thank you for posting!!!

Thanks, Lisa!! I was annoyed at that woman, but I was in too good of a mood to say anything. Although I did take that photo of her butt & post it on the Disboards for the world to see. :upsidedow I can't say I feel too bad, either. :rotfl:

I had to stop & snap another photo of Captain Jack as the parade was rolling by. We stopped to watch the fireworks, too. It was very crowded & I noticed a lot more people were bumping into us & not saying “sorry” or “excuse me”.

I hate to admit that I don’t remember when we rode BTMRR, but I just can’t remember. We were bummed because Pirates wasn’t open. I thought it always had been open for the Halloween Party. All in all, it was a good night. We trick-or-treated at every candy stop & the fireworks were awesome. The highlight of the Halloween Party for me is always the Headless Horseman’s horse. We ended up leaving at about midnight.

The next morning we slept a little late. We walked over to DHS.

After this we decided to get some lunch. I got a veggie burger & fries from Rosie’s- it was just ok. They used to have better ones & they must have changed brands recently. My stepmom got a little pepperoni pizza. Sorry- no photos. My stepmom mentioned that she has never seen the Beauty and the Beast Show. As we were walking by, the show was starting, so we walked right in & sat down. I took a gazillion photos of the show.

After the show, we went on Tower of Terror. The line moved quickly- until we exited the pre-show area. Then the line just crawled. When we got closer, we realized that they were filming something. There was a guy there who seemed to be a South American celebrity. I couldn’t get anyone to tell me who he was, though. When we finally got on the ride, it was awesome as usual!

After this, we left the park & went back to the room for a while. We took the boat back & my stepmom went in the pool while I stayed in the room to reorganize all of my stuff. We got ready & headed over to AKL to meet up with one of my stepmom’s friends. She was nice enough to invite us to see her room at the Lodge. She had a great view & she joined us for dinner at Jiko, too!

Dang! We went by at about 10:30 or 11. I was so upset that we missed it this trip. I'm riding it twice in December to make up for it! :rotfl:

April, I don't know how I missed all these updates. :confused3

Your pictures, considering the big **** who cut in front of you, turned out really good (better than mine). I noticed a lot of RUDE people this past trip who think the world revolves around only them.

I love the pics on your walk to DHS--I can't figure out what that is in the water either. It's not a gator...as I've never seen a gator with it's tail end up in the air like that.

How did you like Jiko?

I really enjoy all the pictures you are posting, especially of less obvious things like the walk to DHS and the queue for Tower of Terror. It really makes me feel as if I were there, and gives me a chance to see some things I haven't had a chance to experience yet. :)
