2 Long Years!!!

YAY!!! Just booked a February vacation at the BWV!! I'm so happy, it has been 2 long years since we were in "The World" I haven't been in WDW in February in years...any info. would be great...i.e. crowds...weather.....

the first 2 weeks were not crowded at all.

the weather was not bad at all.

Haven't been in Feb, just wanted to commiserate. We haven't been since May 2009 and won't be back until Oct 2012. We did go to Disneyland though June 2010, Nov 2010, and we'll be going this late Nov. Still miss The World though.

We went this past February and the weather was 100% perfect. Best weather we have ever encountered at WDW. Crowds were pretty big as it was President's week, but we found we could avoid them by knowing what rides to hit first. Happy planning!

We've been going second weekend in Feb for the last two years.

Weather year before was COLD. 33F there and 34F here (Detroit). They had massive landscape frost die-backs. It was pretty severe for the plants (we were fine - just kept laughing at the irony of our 'warm weather escape'). Crowd were fine.

They did have cheerleading competitions around that time both years. The first year we were in CSR, and had to endure teenage stuff (up late, noise, etc.). We had conferences, we weren't there to relax, so it was no biggie.

Last year, weather was great. We tried POP Century, and it was quiet. The ME crowds high (cheerleaders, I think. Some school group), but park crowds low.

We're going this Feb. too. It makes a nice weekend get away and an escape from the winter blahs. Have fun!

Same with us.......its been 2+ years since we have visited. My #3 was 15 months old when were last there, he will be 4 tomorrow. Now my #4, and final, will be 18 months for his first trip. We decided to save up points so we could bring extended family with us for this trip. I just hope it all works out.

OP - enjoy! we've visited several times the weeks surrounding Presidents' Day and had no complaints with the weather (coming from freezing temps in the north may have had something to do with it). We used the pools every trip, it does cool off @ night so pack accordingly.

my experience is that early feb has been warmer than our various visits the 1st 2 weeks in Decemberalthough I'm told we happened to hit cold spells.

Note the parks tend to have reduced hours/close early but attendance seems low @ both WDW & U except weekend of Pres Day proper. We did run into large loosely supervised cheer group when @ ASMo years ago that time period (it's what finally convinced my DH to buy DVC).

Congrats on getting back there and not pushing it to 3 years! As for February, the month in general is light! i think there is one holiday weekend in the month but in general everyone is back in school/working. Have fun!
